Mastering J&L Cuts in LumaFusion

For a scene similar to ‘No country for old men’ i.e. two over the shoulder shots, I assemble edit the dialogue clips to include all audio including pauses, then detach the audio from the two adjacent clips. I then change the editing mode to overwrite and if I want a J cut, I drag the first video to the right and for an L cut, I drag the second video to the left. It helps to use markers where the change takes place to avoid further fine tuning of the video clips.

It shouldn't just be English. The product I use is in my native language, but these trainings are only in English, including subtitles. I don't even want to get into the issue of the program I purchased asking me to spend again for other features it contains. Unfortunately, you are full of surprises.

I would love to see an "expand audio" option similar to Final Cut Pro to not need the audio be completely detached from the video and risk getting things out of sync in edits with a lot of clips.

Interesting comment that the J and L cuts do not come as an effect. Why do you not make an effect that would do a J or L cut then all you would need to do is adjust it? I am sure that would not be difficult.
