Mastering lápiz - tango men's technique exercise with Francisco Forquera

Simple, but very effective tango men's technique exercise for having better lápizes, giros, enrosques.
Another names for lápiz: rulo, dibujo.
With practicing you will have:
better balance,
stronger core muscle,
better coordination in different directions.
Do not forget to do it in both directions!

Are you just using your standing leg to give the momentum to turn round as you do the lápiz? Or are you using your upper body to 'propel' the lápiz?

The momentum of the leg helps from half way through - when it is “open”. The movement is really imitialized im the standing foot (and the upper body). I think thinking of leading is the key.
