This is plain wonderful, thank you. It´s a pity that some of the commenters complained about too much talking or varying sound levels - I think: jeez, this is FREE content (it´s good to give a tip concerning sound levels as one person did, but not to complain like another did, I think). And besides, there is actually not too much talking, which you can only know if you have Tango dance experience. None of the talking points was wasted, everything that was talked about, was also shown. And one can see that you CAN dance, even from this very basic video. Very good work!

Thank you for your lesson ❤ I started a tango course but missed first 3 lessons 🙈 Basically all the basics, and your video helped me to understand how to even stand and move in harmony. You are both very energetic and enthusiastic, and it does shine in the video 🙌🏻

I've never taken an Argentine Tango lesson but I love the way you teach. I know this is a little far fetched but can you recommend a good instructor in Boston, MA, USA

Close embrace 'walking' would be nice . . . .
@SayakayJoscha Жыл бұрын
Hi Steven, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately at the moment we are busy with teaching and family and do not find time to record videos. It will be in our mind though when doing the next ones. Until then, in our perspective, if you are precise with your axis on the balls of your feet and moving from your base leg, the technique will work in close embrace, too. Stand closer together, feel your natural points of connection. Make your arms as long and soft as possible, embrace and start moving your whole body 🤗 In the meantime, we would be happy to see you in person in a class somewhere in the tango world some time. www.sayakayjoscha.com for travelling schedule ⬆️

your video is very good until it's time to practice and then the music gets extra loud and annoying. If you can take care of this, the video will be super. By the way, PRACTISE is spelled like this PRACTICE. Thank you very much.

Hi there, thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately we had difficulties with the volume and now that it’s uploaded can’t change it anymore. Maybe put your own music and enjoy practicing 💃🏻🕺🏻

hoping you take this comment in the spirit it is meant. take the time to review your work before posting it. in this video, your sound levels vary widely from between scene filler music and your vocal recording. I think many of your viewers would appreciate a better balance so we don't have to keep muting the video and then turning up the volume to hear what you are teaching.

Hi Michael, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately at the time we didn’t check. And today we don’t have time to record more online lessons. I hope you can still profit from the content. Maybe see you somewhere in a workshop or seminar sometime. Best, Sayaka and Joscha

It's a how to / tutorial not showcase / demonstration. As a beginner, I found it very profitable. What is wrong with people attention span nowadays, they can't invest tents of minutes in listening, paying attention, understanding deeply and thus learning? The slow pace of this video trasmits inner peace and reminds viewer not to rush when learning a new skill
