I never commented since the birth of YT, i already know that features but I'm glad that someone ponted out, for "normie UX". it's not as simple as you explain but it's beyond the normie-browsing experience. I would just use the menu at the top left to access inspect element on sites that didnt let me right click but damn i wish i knew that thats so cool!

1:39, thx, I've actually encountered a few of those disgusting sites myself. I originally put on this vid to just serve as a screen saver while I get started on cooking breakfast. Didn't expect to hear something useful given I wasn't interested in "picture in picture"

Developers program for chrome because Firefox lags behind chrome when it comes to implementing new apis

Chrome is also highest in Market Share also Google basically has control over new APIs. They could get rid of any API by not adding it to Chrome/Chromium. They almost ruined JPEG XL(not JPEG) by removing experimental support(until Apple started implementing it).

god i wish firefox wasn't slow asf, i genuinely switch back every couple of months and love my time on firefox, but eventually go back to chromium due to how slow it gets after awhile :/

@BlueEyes... i mean yeah firefox works "fine" for me too, but it's about 5x slower than chromium at every single thing possible lmao. it's definitely useable but the loading times are not worth it imo. and i have enough ram for firefox hahaha =)

​@@1aiya I've never really looked into it, but I do have a feeling that Firefox does have a bit of more latency when first opening a web page. It will have finished loading at usually the same time, unless it's quick loading. Is that what you refer to?

@@9SMTM6 no not really, what i mean is if i load up youtube, firefox will take about 5-7 seconds, where as chromium will take about 1-2 seconds. this applies to just about every webpage! i think chromium just destroys it speed-wise, i've even done many tests with multiple browsers and it's consistently the slowest in every test.

​@@1aiya Strange... using librewolf and firefox on multiple computers, and can't notice any differences between them and brave. There is an effect that chromium browsers play to prevent the pages from flashing when navigating the same website, maybe this causes the feel of faster loading? There is a performance difference according to benchmarks, but I don't think a human can notice it, nor to be 5x.

NetSurf is good with RAM management, so is Any Webkit-based(Not Blink) Browser.
