I truly appreciate the time you have spent enlightening and guiding us through this obsession. In every video I have watched, your attention to detail was most welcomed and helped me overcome countless frustrations. I finally decided to acknowledge my gratitude after viewing this one. If your career was not teaching, it should have been. Thank you!

Thank you for explaining step by step. I was looking for something similar as I am trying to get back to the hobby after a very long time.

Thanks for this bud! I tried to go off another video before I found yours and I couldn’t get it to work. This was a simple step by step with 0 ambiguity. Thanks again!

hi thanks for your great video !!focal lengh of quattro 150 with coma corrector is about 517. in option menu we must set 600mm or 517?
@DavidCotePhotography3 ай бұрын
If you are using the included coma corrector y,ou would use 517mm. If you use a coma corrector with no reduction then you would use 600mm.

When I click on the link in the nina documentation it points to a page that's no longer there. I went to the planewave site and found part 1 and 2 of platesolve 3. I installed part 1. Part 2 is a bin file. The details you provide in this video don't seem to apply. Any insight? Not sure if I've installed platesolve3 and haven't had a chance to get outside yet to test but it seems to me I haven't completed the install yet, just following your video. thank you.

Very good straight forward video with all the correct information on plate solving. New users will be able to follow your instructions without any issues, as you pointed out everything that was important in setting up the plate solving function in NINA. Astap/Astap , Platesolve2/Astap and Platesolve3/Platsolve3 are all very good workable combinations. As for myself, I have used all three combinations over the past with Platesovle3 now been my primary plate and blind solver, and is very fast at solving in NINA. Keep up these intuitive videos as it helps get newbies up and running fast.

I use SharpCap and the SharpCap plate solver. It allows me to continually move the mount and close in on the target.

Sir, do you have a Patreon page or an Amazon affiliate link? I feel I need to pay you back. Every time I set up a new rig, I go to this video. If it's ever taken down, I'll be so screwed! I owe you sir!
