For those having issues with ball jumping instead of spinning---->To avoid jumping the ball off the table, or jumping in general, just make sure your stick is level with the table "as flat as possible to the table", not diagonal "back of cue way up in the air with tip aiming down at ball". Then make sure you are as low as possible aiming down your cue stick. Next make sure you are holding tight to the front of the stick, but lose with the back of the stick. Control is key. Give your self about 4-5 inches of room between your tip and the ball. After you hit the ball with all these steps, do not stand up after the ball and stick make contact, instead follow threw with the hit, meaning continue pushing your stick as if you didn't hit the ball, then after the ball is in motion you can stand up. If you do not, then you will most likely miss, or cause your ball to jump. It is also important your cue tip on your pool cue to be round, not flat. All pool stick tips are flat when they are first used, and slowly become round the more they are used. You can also buy a rounder online for the tip. Another amateur mistake is chalk. Chalk is suppose to be applied after every hit. Every single hit should be chalked. This ensures a clean hit between your tip and the ball.

Yes this is a 2 year old video since the tutorials DVDs has not changed. This is just to give you an idea on what to expect from the DVDs in terms of visual computerised aids and tutorial methods. As you know there are many topics that should be covered before that but we figured putting this would be the best video to showcase how goods these DVDs are.

Because at exactly 3 am the object ball was seen leaving the table and dissapearing in a dark corner. Upon further investigation it was discovered that it had been forced there by the cue ball. Examining it's trajectory we can determine where on the cue ball the stick made contact and deduce how the event unfolded.
