Imortal player here. I agree with everything but deathmatch is good for crosshair placement and not necessarily aim, yes it also improves aim but aimlabs or kovaaks helps way more with that. I also think that aim is not the issue for most players in the lower ranks but movement is. Strafing (especially in the lower ranks) allow u to live longer so that u also have more time to kill your opponent. Overall W video

What you said isn't incorrect and those are important fundamentals. My question is, considering you've thought about this enough to make videos and put in some time to apply it. What is the #1 thing you think is holding you back from being at least ascendant/high diamond instead of plat? Often mechanics is enough to get you there unless your mental is really bad or you dont play enough games

@@Masa6x I think it’s mainly because I always solo queue, I get really unlucky with teammates. I’m also on a laptop so sometimes my reaction time is slower since it’s smaller then others screens

@@azeriaceleste Im not trying to be harsh but i'll say im an immo player and your team in ranked will never be good. I was stuck in plat for a long time, and then had times I was stuck in asc as well with 'bad teammates'. The only solution is to get better than the people you're playing against to the point where you're farming your lobbies consistently. The laptop thing could def be a limiting factor, especially if your fps is bad, I used to struggle in cs on a laptop and ranked up pretty fast when I got an actual pc and decent monitor. That said, if you wanna improve quickly just gotta ignore bad teammates, don't let them affect your focus, every single round think about what you could've done better for a moment, then lock in for the next round. A trap ppl get stuck in is thinking "if it worked it was good", but you gotta get good at evaluating if you could've done something differently regardless of the outcome. Also don't waste time worrying about utility or lineups till youre at least ascendant imo. Taking good fights with disciplined movement is gonna have way more impact.

This is a helpful video especially for newer and intermediate players. But to add a hint of challenge and if u just want to improve on clicking heads first before trying to work on recoil control (full spraying, burst shots + spraying), guardian + sheriff would work. ADS would help accuracy too!

It's been 2 weeks since i started playing valorant, with no pc fps games experience, im struggling to win 1 v 1 with rifiles but im doing pretty okay with pistols

If u put the hours in u will definitly hit the high rank. But if u just want to play casually thats also fine. there is nothing wrong with not being the best player.

Good advices! You can even climb to high ascendant - low immortal with those tipps. What is also very important what you didnt mention is the importance of utility. I recognized when i played on my smurf that in low elo gold - low ascendant people doesnt understand how important it is to use your util before you die or to initiate gunfights with it. Keep up the good work with those videos! (im braindead the video focuses just on aim...) sorry
