Hi David, Thank you so much for fantastic videos here on YT. I love them and learn a lot from you 🙏😁 Is there a cold orange or a cooler orange in acrylics and oils? I already searched at brands like Golden Heavy Body, W&N, Old Holland, etc… but I couldn't find any. Unfortunately I can’t order your brand of paint because super high taxes and douane costs in my Country.

Not a really cool one. You can make it though really easy by adding just a touch of Red Violet to your orange. Also you can put orange up against some of the warmest colors like Yellow Oxide and Naphthol Red Light which will make it look cooler.

David, how do you keep the pencil drawing from smearing?

Hi Kathy! This is Martha. We are so glad you wrote about pencil smearing. A concern for everyone using pattern tracings and guidelines. David uses a hard lead pencil (carpenter's pencil). Hard lead pencils are less likely to smear. Using the drawing as guidelines, they are often covered by paint, not being visible in the end. If you need to erase, consider sanding lightly. Welcome! If you are using the Heritage MultiMedia paint, you should be able to mix many of the colors used in the videos. For colors you cannot mix, you will have to decide if you want to get the new color or use a substitute that you mixed. If you have trouble mixing, just let us know. Regardless, as you paint and study, you will grow as an artist. We are so glad you are painting with us. 😊

Running out of the pigment. I said that in the video. The world available supply is going down fast so the cost will be increasing to a point that will not make it viable as a color choice. There are others that will work well.
