Thanks man! Im GM in RFRO, RFRI, and PCCI and I’m just now getting into carry optics. It’s a different game for sure and your videos have been very helpful! My biggest struggle is wanting to shoot as fast as I do with the rimfire. I need to slow down and GET MY HITS!

Lol, I can only imagine how much harder it would be to have to slow down from RF and PCC to CO. Eventually in the next year or two I'll make the jump to RFRO, and I already know how exciting it'll be to burn down stages. I wish there was more competition in CO, (RF seems to be where all the heat is), but I get the sense that alot of people find centerfire pistol difficult.

@@offthedraw it’s also like half the price to shoot the match in RF!

I'm impressed that you can average 2.8 seconds per string. My best is 19.32, or 4.8 seconds. How do I gain *two seconds*??
@offthedraw5 ай бұрын
The first place you should try reducing time is on your draw. Let's say you want to average 2.8 seconds and your draw to first shot is 1.5 seconds, you only have 1.3 seconds to engage each reaming target, that's 0.32s per target for the 4 remaining targets. If you can get down to a 1 second draw to first shot, you now have 1.8 seconds, or 0.45s per remaining target. Which gives you more wiggle room so you can ensure your dot is on target before taking each shot.

That’s like asking “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?” The answer you’ll always get is “Practice.”

@@captainrevolver6998 I guess I should be asking WHAT should I be practicing? I don't seem to be getting any faster, which tells me I must be practicing wrong.

My next video is going to be about how to practice for competition. So definitely be on the lookout for that.
