Thank you for showing the reality and words of wisdom. But, this student should also consider the fact that there are students willing to study in Italy come what maybe & not getting the visa. I don't think this student has a positive and hard-working mentality, If he looks back to the preparation he might have done for the whole year to get the Italy student visa, he might understand the value of what he got.
