this is a really helpful way to coach training-one shot with the owners all the way through, love it! I do agree that the viewer should have caption control. kikopup uses that kind of leash too but I can only ever find the ones with the big plastic handle that retracts. what are these called?

Lose the captions. They are distracting. If I can't hear, I would use the CC button.

agreed, this style especially is super distracting. there has always been an option within YT to enable them if desired-if you wanted exact captions instead of auto-generated then you can upload that way using your video editor

The captions are there to make the video accessible to all. The option to use the CC button often isn’t suitable on many videos due the background they can be difficult to read. These style of captions are actually very useful to those who need them. Those who don’t can ignore them/they’re a minor inconvenience vs someone with a disability not being able to access the video at all/with more trouble. Not to mention on a video like this what are they distracting you from? The stationary dog? There’s nothing happening the video is more about listening to the information and viewing the example ? Said view is not impeded by the captioning

@@RhiannonMartin-l8m I get that you need captions. But there is absolutely no reason to make them so distracting. And highlighting each word is unnecessary.

@@RhiannonMartin-l8m You have to admit that neon closed captioning is ridiculous. As someone hard of hearing, you probably would like to see the entire screen plastered with captions. But the rest of us have no need for it. Lower the font and get rid of the flashing words. Not too much to ask, even for you.
