I found Wayne Dyer when I was 21 in Hartford Connecticut where I lived the first 30 years of my life, and bought the book 'Your Erroneous Zones." I am now turning 72 and still listening to Wayne Dyer. He has brought me through times when it was just me and my boys living in Bend Oregon looking out at the Cascade Mountain Range in my 40's. Saw him at at seminar called: "Day of Awakening" in Miami and was able to meet him. Now I'm alone here in Fort Pierce Florida listening to him on KZbin and so grateful for his insights. +WalkingWith Him I think it's more loving the creation, the potential they have. loving the Love that is within them, whether or not they do or let it shine. There's a better way to have a dialogue than to attack or already be on the defensive and try to elicit the reactions you want. Instead of jumping to pedophiles who rape and kill. Start within, do you even love yourself? Do you love your family...not just because you have to or are supposed to. but do you ACTUALLY love...? It's not romantic love or filial love...it's deeper than that, unconditional love. There's a spark of divinity within everyone, you look for that and love that... that's the way i see it. Maybe if said pedophile had been loved in such a way from the beginning, perhaps he woudln't have killed and raped...or perhaps he would have. but you do what you can, which is send your love, and connect to that spark of love within everyone.

Great answer Jasprit. Interesting how someone makes a lovely comment about love and someone has to jump to a comment about the worst of the worst. Thankfully, most people are never going to be tested with that terrible example and won’t have to worry about it ever, so why bring it up? And even those who are tested like that, even some of those people find a way. Ever experience it when someone does something so bad to you that it doesn’t touch you at all-because it is so outside of how nicely you treat people, that you are able to look at it objectively and compassionately without even getting mad? Some people can do that, even for the worst things.

As we practice this unconditional love towards ourselves we learn to practice This Love to others which in turn deepens unconditional love for ourselves and then for others and all Creation. It is a natural feedback loop that draws unconditional Love to ourselves and one another and in a never ending deepening feedback loop of Unconditional Love. It is our Natural state. The ego blocks this but the more you practice the more the ego disappears. The feeling of the state of Unconditional Love is Heaven blossoming within. Travis Hays I am done with this pacifist crap. I can only live in peace so long as my oppressor lets me! Ghandi said that one of the worst things England did to India was to remove weapons. They always quote him for his "peace" but never mention this. It is irrational to think we should not be able to protect ourselves. It is absurd. Someone who knows human nature so well should know. I only have control over myself. Not others.

SoulIn Harmony Yes! After the devastating sudden loss of my brother, I was inconsolable. That is when 1111 entered my life. It was everywhere! I didn't know what it meant, but I knew it was comfort. I went on a search and found it was spiritual, then it all made sense.

Dr Dyer showed me how to forgive my father who I hated more than anything in life. He was a tormented man who could not control his emotions and would lash out at my mother and the children with such unnecessary anger that we all came to resent him tremendously. I felt like I had a monster after me with nobody to protect me and those images were my nightmares. I took my insecurities into my marriage but thankfully my husband chose to stand by me because he felt in his heart things would get better, that I would somehow, overcome my anger and fear. I did and Wayne was a huge factor. I have had help from other great teachers as well but Wayne was one of the first to start me on my path of a much better, joyful and richer life. I have peace now and surround myself with loving, supportive people. Life is good. God Bless Wayne ❤️
