Thanks for sharing! I made one pair of Dawn shorts and really struggled with the fit but you are making me reconsider trying them again. I just tried my shorts on after watching your video and they aren’t as bad as I remembered

Amazing review! And I love your finished garments. I actually made up the Dawn jean but I wasn’t great at fitting yet and it became a UFO. And it will never be finished, so that twill will become a bag. I do want to give it another shot since I’ve learned more fitting techniques.

Thank you! You should definitely give it another chance especially since the pattern is $23 maybe start with the shorts so that you can perfect the fit without using as much fabric. You’ve got this friend! A twill bag is a great idea for the the UFO pair.

I appreciate your experience making these! I am currently using the top down center out method on this pair of jeans. I've never made jeans before and I struggle to find RTW jeans, so I'm hopeful I can make a pair that fit me like a dream. Heres to hoping ;)!

How timely is this video pattern review! I just ordered the Dawn jeans pattern last week and am waiting for it to arrive. I want to make the wide leg cropped version. It is one of my goals this year to make pants/jeans that fit. I also am short waisted and have to modify the upper back area of pants and sometimes tops. The pant fitting challenge is real! I will definitely consider the suggestions you gave! All your versions look amazing.
