Can I offer some advice, since this is the first video of yours I watched and probably won’t watch your other laning videos. You spend so much time talking about what happens in this game, which isn’t too helpful since our games will be different. I think it would be better to explain your knowledge about the overarching ideas and goals you have in this lane- like power spikes, spell usage, etc. I know this is more difficult. Just to give an example, if I am playing offlane Night Stalker I can say- I get QWQE skillbuild with a goal to hit level 4 by minute 5 night, after which I will start playing more aggressively to bully the carry. Until then, I focus on last hitting and only committing spells if the enemy is out of position. Anyways, my goal is not to flame, just give my feedback. Take what you will from it. This was more of a replay viewing, than an informative laning guide / analysis.

Hey, no offense taken, all good. The purpose of my community is to establish healthy conversations and this is a good example of a nice one. Regarding the video format, you are correct. It is a replay analysis, it is exactly this. The main focus is sheding light to scenarios that happens in the laning phase using a play-by-play system. Because the laning phase consists around on the first 10 minutes of a Dota 2 match and in my experience, every second/decision is important. Literally, you can't spend a single second without microing and being AFK because this could lead to something bad in the game. Therefore I prefer to use this format of analysis for the Mastering the laning phase videos and I honestly disagree with this not being useful or the fact that what I talk in this content isn't replicable in a Dota 2 game. I think it is exactly the opposite, I'd agree with you if we were talking about Mid-game situations once these depends on a full team movement to make things happen. While the laning phase it is usually a default setup being worked, which is the 2-1-2 (2 sidelanes with 2 players and one mid laner working solo). So matchups are replicable and decision making is replicable as well. For instance: one thing I always try to give out as a tip is the fact that we are supposed to protect the neutral camps and how you should do it as a Support, since we need the pull controls to restore some balance for our cores (HC or Offlaners). This is actually pretty repetitive on my videos, because it is a basic rule on how to win a lane in Dota 2. Another example is, on my Chen videos, I explain that when you reach minute 5, you can actually perform a single pull and enter the twin gate with 2 creeps on your control to gank the enemy HC. Which is exactly the information you were seeking when you gave the example about playing as Night Stalker. But I get the idea and I deeply appreciate you taking your time to say what video format you are more interested on watching and for giving me your view angles. In fact, I have some ideas stored which hasn't been executed yet, that could deliver exactly what you are looking for. Once again, all good. Ty
