This is a video on how to bind / CONNECT components on all Trane chillers that use a CH530 chiller controller using Techview Software. if you do not follow this procedure, the components will not link, and as a result will not operate.
You must use this procedure when changing any component on a Trane network, otherwise you will have communication issues, and the changed component wont work.
Some examples of the components you need this for on Trane chillers with the CH530 controller are:
1. Binding pressure transducers.
2. Binding temperature sensors.
3. Binding electronic expansions valves (EEV's).
4. Binding network controllers.
Some of the common models of chillers that require this binding procedure are:
Trane CVHE's
Trane CVHF's
Trane RTAA's
Trane RTAC's
Trane RTUD's
Trane RTWD's
Trane CGAM's
Trane CXAM's

Maybe show what else you can do with techview. That would be cool for me, because all I’ve ever seen was binding.

10-4, thanks for the feedback brother. I plan to do a video for software installs in new ch530 controllers as well, but won’t be till this fall more than likely, working on putting together some more general training first on the basics, to get guys more familiar with how to maintain and troubleshoot some of the most common issues first, then I will get deep into more advanced topics. I do plan on putting out a video on diagnosing and correcting communication issues on Tranes with the CH530. I will be using tech view also, so keep an eye out for that, probably in the next month or so depending on how the other training goes. I appreciate the support man, any other topics that you’d like to know more about? Hardest thing is finding the topics that will help the most people.

Do Carrier,York,Mc Quay and other brands have the same procedure??

None that I have seen use this besides Trane. there are different controllers all over the world tho, so I'm not going to give you a hard no because there are literally thousands of different machines. I have worked on many Daikin/Mcquays, and Yorks, And Carriers and I have never see anyone else use this method. everything i have worked on besides Tranes use traditional sensor and traditional pressure transducer.

excellent stuff man, its cool to see you doing research. hopefully everything goes good. im not sure if your in our group on facebook or not, but all of the guys are really helpful if your humble and ask a question looking for specifics. i have never personally opened up a Trane screw, it has never been cost effective for the companies i have worked for in the past to do it, but a lot of guys on the group have if you need help, or have specific questions, they are great. good luck brother. message me if there is something else i can help with, or comment on here @@mallkomoha6823
