📲 Yay! Our Pick Up Limes app is finally here (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉 My favourite habit to have built: keeping an optimistic outlook in difficult situations. A habit I'm working to break: giving into fast fashion temptations. Your turn… what habit are you proud of, what habit could use some attention?
@celticsunrise87646 жыл бұрын
Pick Up Limes Hi Sadia! Thank you for another thought provoking and inspiring video. ❤ Incorporating yoga into my morning and bedtime routines is my newest habit. Being optimistic during difficult times is a fantastic goal to work on...starting today!

A habit I'm super proud of is taking my iron pills daily. Seems pretty simple but for a person who doesn't like swallowing pills, I'm super proud that it's become an automatic task. I've noticed how my energy levels have changed and it has had a ripple effect on my day - a keystone habit for sure! A habit I would like to break is rushing through my day! I'm always jumping out of bed and rushing into the next task. I was not 100% cognitive of it or that change was possible, until now when you asked. You have definitely provided some stepping stones for change. Thanks Sadia! ❤️

Habit I worked hard on is to be conscious of how I talk to myself, it’s unfair that I show kindness to other people but not me. I am now trying to work on a better morning routine; wake up early, meditate, exercise then enjoy my breakfast. This is hard as I am a night owl. But getting there... ^_^

A habit I’m most proud of having developed is catching my negative thoughts. The thought is the cue, the routine is recognising and acknowledging the thought, and the reward is redirecting my energy to a positive outlook. I still pick at my nails when I’m bored though!

There are lots of bad habits i have! I have been realising it but not able to change or don't want to change kind of..now am convinced that only our own conscious efforts can break the bad habits..I love to sleep late, i feel more home at night rather than morning, because the early i wake up the more am aware of the day ahead and that brings anxiety and tiredness with it. So in order to avoid facing the day, or facing any moment for long rather unconsciously am waking up late, reaching late or exactly on time to whatever i attend.. This is there in every pace of my life so far.. I have been tired but still hopeful somewhere.. Your kind words makes me breath better...I will put effort in building a positive picture about my life..rather than focusing on myself doing things wrong i will try to see how can my act be helpful to those around n to myself, I have to redirect, as you say, many things.. So much love..❤️ You are so content, we feel the peace❤️✌️

My favorite habit is starting my morning ( 4 am) with my Holy Hour (silence prayer with Holy Scriptures, reflection and journal) with a glass of lemon water beside me. After Holy Hour, I go to the gym (around530 am) for a 40 min workout before I go to work. Daily mass after work and rosary. I also want to develop a good sleep routine as I tend to slack in this area. I just tend to have a busy night and sleep on the spot, if that makes sense. I want to develop a 7-hr sleep everyday too. I’m good in my morning routine but my night routine is quite a challenge. Thanks for this video. Much love to you !😘

A habit that i recently started doing is picking up after myself. I used to just use and leave stuff around thinking that i would put it back eventually but when i realized the room was a mess, not particularly dirty but everything was scattered all over the place and it would get to the point where i'd have to stop whatever i was doing and sometimes push back chores to declutter the counters and such and i was sick of it. Now it became pretty much an habit where i just think "it's gonna take 20 seconds you can do it" and i've been more productive since! This channel is a must if you want to get your life together it's helping me not only physically but also mentally :) Thank you Sadia for all the hard work you put into it, it's not going to waste! ❤

I really appreciate you making this video! The list of habits I want to establish is long, but as you mentioned, I want to begin to 1) Wake up earlier and 2) Exercise in the morning. One habit I want to break is to eat when my husband eats! At times he gets cravings at night and I am satisfied, but eat with him anyway just to enjoy a late night date! Thanks for your hard work and for sharing your knowledge with us!

Thank you so much for this. My school year is coming to an end, finals are in three weeks, and it feels as if I'm not doing anything productive. My teacher for one of my hardest classes is leaving, and it seems as though he has given up on us since the beginning of January; I haven't studied in a few months, now greatly behind by two essays and four chapters. I gave up around the end of March, and I haven't been able to get into doing what I need too. I've abandon my workout routine, stopped being with friends, eating worse. I feel like absolute trash mentally and physically, but your video has really brought a little light back into mylife tonight. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks to you and Audible. If audible was not there I might never manage time to listen such great works of Jack Canfield, Nepoleon Hill etc and turn my life in all positive direction. Thank you again. Your name will always remain in my Gratitude journal and of course in my heart. With love Soumi.

I love your soul. Your beauty shines from within and really comes out in your voice and smile.❤️ I try to change or set new, multiple habits at once...I've realized that this is why I have failed when it comes to a healthier lifestyle. I've been vegetarian for 5 weeks now... This is the only habit and goal I set for myself this time. Eventually I hope to transition to vegan. I tried doing this before as well while trying to get up early and drinking water... Too many habits to change at once. After a few weeks of being vegetarian I have realized that even when I didn't make it a goal (this time) to drink more water or to walk more or to get up earlier.... It kind of just happened... Eating more fruits and veggies has given me so much energy that all of the other things have come naturally. Went to the doctor this week and guess what? My blood work came out so good my doctor was impressed. I got so many recipies from your channel and from your blog and they keep me sane and keep cravings away. Thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge. P.S my pantry is looking as wholesome as yours... Except for the spices am still working on those. 😍😘😘😘🤔

Hi Sadia:) I wanted to express how grateful I am to have stumbled on your PUL channel this past May 2020. It has literally been one of the most positive outcomes from the first lockdown. Listening to you is therapeutic. Sometimes I play your videos one after the other while I'm tidying my house or organizing some files. Thank you for your continued dedication to your followers. My habit that I am trying to break is to eat my food calmly and slowly. I find that I rush through it and treat it as a task that I must get done rather than enjoying the moment. I am also trying to change the dialogue in my mind to be more gentle with myself. A habit that I am trying to adopt is self-love and care. I recently read that self-love is a life-long journey. I want to be able to master this habit even on my worse days. I am proud that you are Canadian (I am too:)

I am so happy I found your channel, I don’t know any other vegan channels that provide Balanced nutrition in each meal. I would love it if you could do more baby/toddler meals! I have your plate method pdf printed out on my fridge and I reference it every time I make food for my daughter. Also, any instant pot recipes would be great! Thank you for teaching me so much! Keep the knowledge coming!

As always, your videos are so lovely, simple and provide great pieces of knowledge. I'm so grateful to you. The habit I want to work on is waking up early in order to workout (yoga) and work on my writing skills.

Hi Sadia! Thanks for another wonderful video!I truly believe in constantly remembering your why, it helps a lot especially when you feel like giving up. 🙂 I do enjoy podcasts so I’d probably like audiobooks as well, thanks for the free trial. ^_^

For me the habit to change is - to stop feeling shy and awkward in front of people. Reward will definitely be new friends, useful contacts ..

I don't like long videos per say, but I enjoy your videos so much no matter how long they are I feel as if they're too short. The goodness ends too quickly. You're a great example of 'be who you needed when you were younger'. Make your own life worth living so that you enjoy your own company everyday. Thanks for reinforcing that. xoxoxoxoxoxox @PickUpLimes

Hi Sadia! Love love love your videos!! I so look forward to watching them! One habit I'm proud of is drinking at least 2 litres of water and I will definitely take on your idea of eating apples with nut butter to replace eating chocolate. Thank you!! xx

I really loved this video and how you articulated it. My favourite habit to have created is being enthusiastic and having fun in all areas of life. I'm working on breaking the habit of not carving time out for my hubby since bub has been born. So our cue is once she goes to sleep we spend quality time together and reward closeness and connectedness with my partner.

I've gotten in the habit of cooking for myself, and while it sometimes feel like a chore... I still love the ritual of it ! And I'm currently trying to get in the habit of taking care of myself and doing a bit of yoga. Let's call it a work in progress... Self-care does not come easy to me, but the results will be worth it !

Habit I am working on: IMPROVING MY HEALTH AND TIME MANAGEMENT :) Cue: having my vitamins in front of me and alarm for my meals and water. While time management can be improved through the use of my calendar, reminders and planner ready for me to use all time (organized backpack).

I want to have a new habit of sleeping at exact same time each day at 9pm. It is incredibly hard to do. But I found that I usualy don't function well if I dont have enough sleep.
