The art of the mixtape... I remember getting a Sony component double cassette deck for my birthday and all of the mixtapes I made on that thing. Great job mac. This guy is awesome, so glad i went for him as he just completes the shelf with soundwave. Poor TT ravage has been relegated to a chest tape, but he's cool with it (or just too small to argue bless him). I'm good with TT laserbeak, broken tail fin aside, but i'll be honest and say i'm all in for this line, and one this scale would result in some overflow. Final aside it was good to see you stop in at the tfw2005 reviewers thread, lot of (deserved) love for you in there dude, and that's where i found out you existed.

Great review. Used it to get back to tape mode after months of being on the shelf. Had to get those sick Toyhax stickers on there and boy did that one pay off. I know some like to keep their bots cartoon simple but adding the tape details was huge!

I want a Ravage that can fit into Soundwave but at the same time I love this one. I don't get why they chose not to paint the cassette or not to tab the neck and back pieces together but I still think this is the best ravage out there. Ravage is also one of my favorites either in the animation or the IDW comic. Thanks for the review Bobby.

Finally got around to this, sorry for your loss. Never easy losing an animal family member... About this product, love it. Only gripes I have are the lack of tape marks (the injustice!) and that the chrome on the missiles/boosters get corroded over time. Not the flaps/wings but the main missile/booster body. Weird stuff. Worried about my GP Dinobots chrome as well. Maybe it's the humidity in my country...

I’m glad Jaguar might be getting a reprint at the end of the month for those of us who missed them. While the following doesn’t bother me, I’m thinking Jaguar might be a shellformer given how will thought out the cassette sheet is, and the lack of cassette markings on the figure itself.

I havn't made a mix tape in a long time. I used to record cassette tapes over and over to the point you can still hear the previous song slightly in the background. ravage was always one of my favorite minions of Soundwave.

Problem with him on display, is he'll look great next to Soundwave, but ridiculously large next to Frenzy & Rumble. Then you buy THOSE guys when they come out from MMC, and now they're massive next to the humans who they should scale with. It's a rabbit hole.

I have a huge collection of custom tapes I have been making ever since Guardians of the Galaxy came out and I just had to have one. Ya the tape mode is kinda bland but who"s going to keep him as a cassette really? Of course, if they made a 1 to 1 version of Soundwave where he would fit in his chest, that would be something. I don't think that's going to happen, I'm still looking forward to Rumble and Laserbeak. I'm also holding out hope for a Steeljaw. Gotta send some love Blaster's way.

Great looking figure, I know the animation scale of ravage was all over the place in the show, but most the time I always saw him as regular big cat. jumping at Autobot faces and attacking or capturing humans, but never the size of a winniebago. I think its a great looking piece by itself or posed with Soundwave, but I just don't see it fitting well with my collection. Nice review as always

Funny thing about this is that the tapes just like Soundwave grew so technically ravage looks in scale or at least in some scenes from the cartoon. The real threat is if a 4th party company takes this design and scales it down to mp scale. Another odd fact... The tape of ravage that. a me from classic 's hound is the same size as the ravage from the mp line but they are both accurate. Que the Twilight Zone music.
