Ravage was always one of my favorites in the original show, and he became even more of a lovable character in More Then Meets The Eye... *Spoiler warning: Spoiler in the rest of the comment.* His last moments cemented him as a favorite. The other horrific crimes of Damus/Tarn, and then him killing ravage was the icing on the murderous cake, I hated Tarn for being not only a traitor to the Autobots, but a heartless wretch. I felt a legitimate weight and loss when Ravage said his final words to Megatron… "Don't change back." To this day it still makes me cry..

I'd be in for a non-transforming ravage figure with some decent articulation. for this character, I'm buying it for the cat mode. I don't really care if he's changes into anything else, especially if it hamstrings the panther.

Unfortunately ( or fortunately) this may be the next stage of the fandom. Two or three highly detailed non transforming figures have come out, but the price was the biggest obstacle. With teh exception of Dinobots and insecticons, I display my bots in robot mode. Knowing it can transform them is nice but I can get over that if its extremely well done).

@@doro626 I'd prefer a transforming toy, but to get a decent Ravage (dare I say toon-accurate?) I'd forgo any alt mode if it impairs the cat. Sort of like the Ravage that came with Baroness?

Yep, at this stage I’d be happy with all cassettes as articulated action figs as an option for masterpiece Soundwave and Megs.

I don't really have a desire to get this version of Ravage as I don't really care for the Beast Wars standing mode....but damned if I'm not tempted, just to get the Megatron accessories. That being said...I freaking love MMC and their engineering. Keep doin' what you do 🤘😁🤘

The fact that some of the items you review are on loan shouldn't be a subject to any one but you and the person who loaned them to you. You shouldn't even talk about it because some viewers will feel they have your attention and wont stop bickering you about it. If nothing else we should all be thankful to both you and who ever loaned the figures to you because your reviews are a service to the community, I know I am, I never forget to say "Thank you Mr. Skullface..." at the end of every one of my comments. I tried resisting both this and the MMC Megatron re-release because they are expensive and I'm spending lots of money in action figures as it is. The thing is... these are the best representations for those MTMTE IDW characters, they are god transforming action figures, they are two of my favorite characters from the TF lore and more specifically from IDW MTMTE comics, that again is my favorite TF comic. In the end it's too many "favorite" and "good" to pass on so after struggling with the thought for a couple of months I finally decided to buy them and buy them I did. I know I wont regret having bought them because even though they are very expensive, when I finally get them I wont even remember spending the money and the only thing I will think about is how good they are and how good they look when displayed together. Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface and send my regards to the Skullface family. P.S. The only "problem" (from a financial point of view) is that now that I know I can split him in two I have to get Tarn and I already know how that goes... I will end up buying the full MMC DJD set (in the aftermarket where the prices are ridiculous), from there a couple more MMC reformatted MTMTE characters, ending in a new deviation in my collection to MMC chug scaled MTMTE TF figures.

I feel that this set kind of misses the mark. There are a few minor gripes I have here and there, but what I want more than anything is a proper fusion cannon. I stated this about their IDW Megatron before, but I feel that by trying to do two versions of him, they do neither one very well. While I would prefer they focus on the modern MTMTE version, MMC seems determined that the miner version is the one to go for. I would gladly trade in the sniper rifle (already obtainable to begin with) for a fusion cannon.

Megatron and the main characters of MTMTE get stuck on a planet after a mutiny on the Lost Light; The DJD with Deathsaurus's army AND Overlord show up to kill Megatron and he refuses to fight. The other crew members fight, and the DJD leader Tarn tears Ravage in half, prompting Megatron to arrive on the battlefield and completely decimate the four living DJD members.

why would anyone care whether u own the fig or not? going out of your way to review something is much harder than just ordering something and only reviewing what u buy. this fandom is just like every other fandom im a part of a bunch of people with no self awareness and no social skills with some actual fans sprinkled through out. sad that the vocal minority ruins it for the rest of us.
