You could argue that Banning feeds Forsworn or other criminals to his dogs so that’s why he isn’t specifically on this list unlike Eola and Hogni. Lisbette is pretty bad tho.

With Hogni, if you ask him where he gets his meat, he will answer from the Orc Stronghold in the Reach, without context you would think he's saying he buys his supply from Orc Hunters, but knowing he's in a Cannibal Cult he's probably selling Orc Meat. Also seeing how insular the Orc Strongholds are, if someone from there went missing, word of it would rarely get back to Markarth. Tho it raises some more questions seeing that Hogni doesn't look like someone with much physical prowess and it's hard to imagine him taking down an Orc, like does Hogni secretly have Super Assassin Skills, or more likely he's getting assistance from other members of the Cannibal Cult, or maybe he buys is supply not from Orc Hunters but Hunters Of Orcs.

Hey guys, I just found out that after the Main Quest ends, Elenwyn loses her essential Status. Meaning if we hop back into the Embassy (use a horse to hop the fence and go in through the backdoor, then use a plate and Whirlwind sprint to get into the main room), we can kill the leader of the Thalmor in Skyrim.

A strange detail about Hogni that I picked up on when I was six, but haven't ever seen anyone else point out since, is that in Skyrim raw beef and human flesh share _the exact same model._ Which, to me, this sharing of item models always implied that the "beef" Hogni sells at his stall may not be beef at all.

Top tip, if you do kill any of these people, werewolf form is the way to go. No bounty, and if you do run into guards, you can outrun them. I try to avoid collateral damage on my kills. I like to be an ethical killer.

Unfortunately, as much as I don't like her, I keep her around when using block builds. It's VERY easy to train with her since she's a follower. Meaning you can just... Exchange items with her and take back the gold you just gave her for the training.

There was some cut content related to Erikur. Boethiah's Calling was originally meant to be a longer quest with a segment where the player is sent to assassinate Jarl Elisif. After doing so Erikur becomes Jarl of Solitude and there is dialog that strongly hints that Erikur was directly involved with the assassination plot

@@duskbringer4583 No, it's good actually. Ironically, he's ambitious and a jackass enough that he may be the only one willing to fight with Sibylle Stentor for power. Either Erikur gets killed for getting into Sybille's business, or while we're up one Thalmor-sympathizing Jarl, we're also down one vampire asshole letting other vampires into Skyrim (she let the altmer one from the Redwater Skooma Den in instead of booting his ass back to Summerset or outing him). Solitude's court is honestly a giant fucking mess and Ulfric should have shouted most of them to pieces, from the vampire court wizard to the incompetent steward more busy getting his d wet with a thane than paying attention to citizens' worries. Just claim martial law and put Tullius in actual charge, at this point the Empire is more competent and less malignant, which is saying something given I haven't liked the empire since they lost any shred of respect I had left by Oblivion (when I found what they allowed into their nobility and various orders, incompetence upon incompetence, and only some of it is Jagar Tharn's aftermath).

So about Hogni something really interesting just happened on my current playthrough. So i went to Markarth and found Hogni dead by his food stand. I searched his body and their was note from the dawnguard saying that he was suspected of being a creature of the night. ( we all know why ). I tend to agree that Hert likely preys on bandits and the like. She sells lumber to Falkreath, which would be tough if she was murdering normies regularly. She’s also never aggressive toward the player, and will befriend you if you chop wood.

She always goes on about how she misses her husband, but reveals she doesn't even regret eating him, she only misses the taste. In... some fairness to her, it's not confirmed whether she killed him. I think she says he died in a Forsworn attack. Now she *could* be lying her ass off, but maybe he really *did* die, she recovered his corpse to mourn him, and in some fucked-up Namira-inspired coping mechanism, ended up eating him. She still deserves to die like the rest of the cannibal party, as in the present day they're all willingly feasting on a murdered innocent, but I don't think I'd put her above the guy who's *literally selling human flesh to passerby.* There's a good chance Hogni is the reason why there are so many cannibals in Markarth. Once you get a taste of "the bloodiest beef in the Reach", you can't ever go back...

My favorite creative way of dealing with bad NPCs is to use console commands or mods to make them essential (if they aren't already) use a mod-added spell called Entomb to bury them alive, and then release them in the Soul Cairn. Granted there's a mod where Soul Trapped npcs end up in the Soul Cairn anyway so that might be better.

One of my favorite things about every Skyrim playthrough is when I finish the dainty Sload and diplomatic immunity quests so Erikur isn’t essential anymore, then I kill Sybille so that Melaran becomes court wizard and I don’t have to worry about him seeing me sneak into the house, then I kill Erikur while he’s sleeping (with his sister 🤢) then steal everything valuable in the house and on his corpse so it looks like a burglary gone wrong. I’ve put a lot of thought into this.

Hert is probably feeding on bandits, not on travelers (or at least, she doesn't kill them). Not all vampire are evil. Janus Hassildor and Serana for example. From my rp, I am their best clients (buy wood for all my manors) and I always stay there for the night. And there is this woman who told me about a tower she escape who is staying here permanently too (probably a bug, but still, she has been here for monthes now). Speaking of vampire, I recently discover the red skooma location near Riften. Great vampire quest.

Time to introduce a mod to y'all! It's called Heart Breaker. What it does is it lets you kill any kneeling/essential NPC by literally going Indiana Jones Temple of Doom style on them and, you guessed it, rip their heart out! It uses the same vanilla animations that you perform on Ildari's heartstone AND it gives you a Human/Elven/Argonian heart in your ingredients! Also works on vampires but, instead of a heart, you get vampire dust. Oh and did I mention it works on ESSENTIAL npcs?!

I like to remove Aerin. First, I give Mjoll a glass 2 hand sword smithed to max. Then I get an unsmithed longbow, and enchant it with soul trap, max seconds, naming it "Aerin Bow". I put a strong frenzy potion on it. After dismissing Mjoll, I visit Aerin's house at night. Hit Aerin with a weak arrow so he stays alive(barely), but frenzied. Mjoll takes him out using the new sword, and I capture Aerin's soul. Using his soul, I enchant Mjoll's 2 hand sword with an improved Grimsever enchantment, and name it "Aerin Boy's Bane", for her to carry for the rest of her life.

I always hated that "forever essential" crap. Like I wanna kill some asshole on that game and all they do is crawl on the ground, and never die. I cant even find reliable mods for that reason.

Well, I have a different thought. Essential is actually good if I have followers, especially those who are capped on level 30. Kharjo is one of them. I don't wanna see my followers and even friendly NPC getting killed accidentally.
