Adam is a book of his work released recently and I'd encourage anyone to buy it and enjoy his beautiful words. Latitude is also where I went to my first festival with my dad and went for about 5 years in a row with my mates (perfect first festival is correct) All the love. X

Latitude was my first festival at 14 and went again at 15, it’s such a good one for discovering bands and feels very safe! The bands I discovered during those weekends 10 years ago are still some of my favourites now! Glad you lads enjoyed it but yeah deffo one for the 7s and 70s

Saw Khraungbin at Bonnaroo based off a suggestion from a friend and I'm glad I did. I more of an EDM guy through and through but that show was a breath of fresh air. Just spotted this in the recommended vids after a music promo video; *love* Latitude! It's in my neighbouring county, my mates have done it loads as it's a birthday weekender for him & his uni pals. I've only been the once myself, in 2015, as Portishead were headlining - yep: _I know!!_ I volunteered so that I could afford it and that was a great experience in itself, making loads of new mates in our corner of the vollies camping area. Trouble was it was an absolute scorcher so made it impossible to sleep through the morning in your tent after a night shift, even though we'd got there early enough to pitch-up right in the corner with a bit of tree shade (if the sun arced over the north rather than the south); I'm a ginger too, so that compounded the issue - the lake was a real godsend which looking ahead to the chapter titles, I imagine you agree: "35:20 - The ultimate festival feature" As you said in your intro, Festival Republic run it and I could've vollied at Leeds & Reading for no additional (ticket deposit) cost that year (beyond getting myself over there etc), but thought the idea of patrolling those campsites and trying to tame nutters like you lot was probably beyond my pay grade, so I'll stick to the sensible middle class families & polite student types! I haven't watched beyond the intro just yet, as I don't have time right now and we're off on a little holiday break in the morning, so I'll be casting this onto the holiday let tv probably tomorrow evening to enjoy with a beer or two... Thanks for returning; I didn't know you'd been here during post-lockdown restricted conditions, so I reckon that vid will be added to my Watch Later playlist too...
