They do sound very similar. Another thing I really like is the diversity of the characters. I just played through getting the relic of wood on Dread's island with Toya and it was really different from the first time I played it with Suleidy.

i played this game for 9 hours already and i'm LOVING it! I've chosen toya as second crewmate and it's insane the sincronyzed kills you can make. Satisfying.

I really like shadow tactics the samurai one. This looks similar but not exactly the same. They have a formula that works.

FRICK YA! Another one of these from Mimimi! They're so so so good at this genre. Always thought that doing something more fantasy would be even more fun. Also always wondered what a PotC version of Desperadoes III would have been. Guess I don't have to any longer. Like the Robin Hood game but with more control over the controls and more intuitive interface. 24:25 witnesses can't raise an alarm if there's no witnesses to raise an alarm. 25:17 I think Desperadoes III had an achievement acknowledging the Bushlord. 43:35 ........UNHOLY SHELLAC! That's... wow... completely unique strategy and gameplay. 44:15 she's undead though... she doesn't need to breath... or float.... she just needs to fight sharks and climb an achor chain. 1:23:40 It's like the previous two were practice to make this one.

genre have been around for ages but when pc games closed in on consoles the genre as well as the top down crpg's diminsihed greatly in favour of action rpgs. Look up commandos, robin hood just to mention two of them from back then
