What's hard to understand here? The only way to get Ratbat was to buy a black repaint of Soundwave. It's an extremely scummy move on Takara's part. KO'ing Ratbat was basically a moral obligation and does right by the customer in a way Takara wouldn't understand

I love when you do the comparisons of the KOs with the MP. I got all the first KO cassettes for my generations line. I did not want to buy the MP Soundwave just to have the cassettes since i don't collect MP, but i thought those cassettes would go nicely with my CHUG collection. Therefore, the KO's worked nicely and were perfectly affordable. NOw i want to see what the KO RatBat is like :)

Hey Charles I am one of the crazies who picked up Soundblaster because I like the black repaint. I wouldn't begrudge anyone for picking this up to round out their cassettes. Paying to double up on a figure just to get him may not be feasible for some. Its foolish for Takara not to have jumped on releasing a standalone Ratbat and circumventing the K.O market at least initially. Just bad business sense. Anyway this K.O looks great. Might have to pick one up just to fiddle with.

I think they did that on purpose so that it would give people an incentive to buy a repaint. But then again releasing Ratbat with lets say another cassette like the other sets would have been good for them too. Whats weird is that people have paid 100+ for Ratbat when soundblaster was going for about 130-150. I love my Soundblaster.

My KO Ratbat had a Decepticon logo that was stretched up and down. I just put a replacement decal over top of it and I can't really tell the difference with the authentic otherwise.

The ko has lighter copper tint to it. Where the other is bit darker but, all n all the ko looks really good.

The KO tape is not flush in cassette mode and the rockets are a bit off tilt in hand... otherwise good

Please can we get a KO Rodimus? Mine broke and I need a cheap replacement, knowing these KOs, they will probably improve the figure so it won't have the same problems.. :(

There is no KO Rodimus, but there is a "original but no box", find it on TF-Direct, they can even sell the figure and trailer separately. www.tf-direct.com/store/masterpiece-mp-09-rodimus-convoy-no-box

Sunny Liu Thanks but I was replying to the comment in the review regarding the KO companies making fan requested toys. I have another takara version of Rodimus MISB in storage, but I don't dare take him out. I would just love it if they do to MP-09 what they did with MP-10 (i.e. Remake him with improved parts and better panit applications). I don't want another, it will just break on me, and I've been through a few, they all have the same manufacturing flaws. Good engineering, bad execution.

swalstar I was just going to suggest TF-Direct.com lol, if you arent looking to buy an entire figure, I would recommend looking on ebay for replacement parts. SOme are even diecast pieces. Why keep yourself from enjoying your toys? I used to keep stuff in boxes but all you are doing is saving them for someone else to enjoy after youre done with em. Have fun!

RocketPunchArmy The silver and gold on the KO's seem to be slightly more shiny, but if anyone's nitpicking about it then you're trying too hard to discredit this KO. I have one, and it's flawless.
