Мой вам совет-смотрите на вещи проще и не городите огород.

BabaJaniTV . I'm not being critical here, this is quite a good little set up if you were going to do a LOT of pipe cutting, ( but then you would just go out and buy a drop saw) I find when I'm doing a little tinkering job in the shed, I usually have to give myself an uppercut and ask myself, "Am I over engineering this, or is there a simpler way??" 🤣But well done mate. Once you have made it, there will always be a job where it will be handy.👍

Recently, I had to cut some 5" PVC pipe. And it was critical that each cut be a perfect circle. Unfortunately, all I had access to were hand saws. After thinking about it for a while, I purchased a 7" hose clamp and used it as a guide for my flush cut hand saw. It worked! All four cuts came out perfect. And all it cost me was $6.50 for the clamp and an hour of my time. 🤠 I enjoyed watching your video, but for my needs, it would be overkill.

@@masterQ20 I've always wanted to give metalworking a try. But I don't currently have any welding equipment. I like the stick welder you use because of its simplicity. Would that be a good place to start? My metal working needs wouldn't be too extravagant, but being able to repair or manufacture a simple piece of equipment would be a great skill to have. It looks like something I could learn to do. I'm always fixing things. My most recent project was repairing a 32 foot tall antenna mast. Whoever took it down cut the brackets holding each 8 foot section to the next and then they threw the brackets away. (Ugh!) Thankfully, each 8 foot section was designed to reduce - at its connection point - into the next. Because of that, I was able to slip the upper section into the slightly wider lower section. I then clamped each leg in place, drilled two, 5/16 mounting holes in each of the three legs and bolted the sections together. I'm using the repaired mast for my wireless internet connection. (I ended up using only 16 feet of the 4-section mast.) All it cost me was $15 for the bolts and $28 for the 4 bags of concrete I used to cement it into the ground. Luckily, the heavy duty aluminum mast had been given to me at no cost. 🤠 - Richie
