The problem is the same as many others. There are a few cards with all of the value and the rest are trash. The trash cards in this set did suck on both the market and the playmat though.

@@Nathan_Coley Actually Cores 19 and 20 aren't as bad as they used to be. Some high value cards on both sets, which is not bad when compared to the value of most sets nowadays anyway. Obviously, with how they're done I believe the long term investment is a loss on Cores, but you can actually turn a profit if you sell singles during the hype

Much love for M25. I bought the last 8 packs out of one box at my LGS, and in the last pack cracked foil JTMS. Went to a different store bought last 4 packs out of the box they had open and as I'm telling them about having cracked foil Jace the day before, I say mid sentence "Like This!" and show them a 2nd foil JTMS in the last pack of the 4. Dude at the counter just started shaking his head at me.

Most of the value is in the commons and uncommons, especially when you get a Tree or Doomsday. Those counterspells, brainstorms, simian spirit guides, and street wraiths add up. Even the Kobold token is around $1.50.

Out of all the masters sets M25 and Eternal masters have way too much volatility for what the boxes are priced at IMHO. Between the two I have seen people take a bath much more often on M25 though.

Imperial recruiter 36. Azuza is like 34. Vedillion clique 22. Pact of negation 20. Rishadan port x2 17 each. Foil mythic master of the hunt is 9 buck. Regular is 5. If he bought the boxes for 250 bucks each, he is spending over 10 dollars a pack. He got 6 or 7 cards over 10 dollars out of 48 packs. On the otherhand he could have bought some MH1 and gotten value instead of the hose!
