Let me tell you what, ya’ll know how to cook and make some coffee! I’m a German, Scottish, Irish, and English American (a mutt as we say in Ohio), and Arab/Middle Eastern people will have a special place in my heart until I enter those pearly gates of Heaven.

I'm colombian, born in the US, and since very young I've always been very fascinated with Arabic culture. Such a misunderstood people, I wish more people could see it for its beauty and not generalize based on things of the past. They're a people who have known incredible struggles and yet are always smiling, laughing their way through their problems. I think that can be attributed to their diet. They eat a lot of greens and herbs. And almost all their dishes are cooked with olive oil. Another factor is the type of jobs they work in. Most of them are craftsmen (builders, artisan workers, farmers.. etc) jobs that take a lot of effort and energy. That is why they seem pretty fit and slim compared to other Arabs.
