I took Arabic for a year in college. I had preconceived notions about Middle Easterners (my own ignorance) and I was awakened by how nice, polite, and family oriented they are. Let me tell you what, ya’ll know how to cook and make some coffee! I’m a German, Scottish, Irish, and English American (a mutt as we say in Ohio), and Arab/Middle Eastern people will have a special place in my heart until I enter those pearly gates of Heaven.

I'm colombian, born in the US, and since very young I've always been very fascinated with Arabic culture. Such a misunderstood people, I wish more people could see it for its beauty and not generalize based on things of the past. They're a people who have known incredible struggles and yet are always smiling, laughing their way through their problems. Hopefully one day we can all learn to live together in peace and appreciate each others culture!

I think that can be attributed to their diet. They eat a lot of greens and herbs. And almost all their dishes are cooked with olive oil. Another factor is the type of jobs they work in. Most of them are craftsmen (builders, artisan workers, farmers.. etc) jobs that take a lot of effort and energy. That is why they seem pretty fit and slim compared to other Arabs.

@@dinostar7656 Weare the strongest force in the Balkans in the economy, in military technology ... in sports .. we fought several times and we were not defeated and in the end the war against NATO forces could not harm us.For all those who have not heard of Serbia and what happened in 1999 .. here's a little reminder; NATO decided to bomb Serbia on its own armed intervention, for allegedly violating human rights in Kosovo. At the time, NATO had 19 member states that had been bombing Serbia for almost 3 months.More specifically, from March 24 to June 10, 1999.Hundreds participated in the beginning of the aggression, and by the end of the war thousands of war bombers and cruise missiles of enormous destructive power. Ammunition loaded with depleted uranium , as well as cluster bombs for bombing civilian targets, was banned under the Geneva Convention. NATO launched a total of 1,300 cruise missiles, delivered 37,000 "cluster bombs".During the bombing, 2,300 air strikes were carried out at 995 facilities across the country, and 1,150 fighter jets launched close to 420,000 missiles with a total mass of 22,000 tons. And in the end they couldn't beat us...
