I swear it’s impossible to please some people, at least be grateful that the stories of these heroes is being told, so many people wouldn’t have known much about the 100th only for MOTA, yes the inaccuracies and over dramatized Hollywood scenes can be annoying, but my god its hard to get everything right, especially when the majority of these men have since passed, unlike Band of brothers when they were making that for example, at least in the making of that show the Veterans had say and input into the show because a lot of them were still alive, but now that’s virtually impossible as time goes on. Just be grateful that the stories of these men and women will live on through shows like this. Dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t🤦🏻‍♂️

This series is a series about historical events. You have to be able to expect the makers of this series to stick to the historical facts as far as possible. Dramaturgically exaggerating individual scenes is absolutely okay for the sake of the series, but depicting historically untrue events is not okay, whether heroes or not.

It's on Apple. I don't have Apple. I've got Prime and NetFlix and I'm not paying for another. I would have liked to watch _Greyhound_ but the only way I'll get that is on DVD - and they don't have Blu Ray yet. I wish they'd stuck with HBO but HBO lost money on _The Pacific_ so they didn't want to do _Masters of the Air_ That thing was in development for years. .

As a pilot myself I thought it wasn't much good, it was unrealistic and inaccruate. Plus they did the RAF really dirty for zero reason in one of the episodes.

Those were the days when Boeing build tough birds. Many still flew after taking heavy fire. Shame that the company of today is not the one who built those war birds.

Boeing is transitioning to a financial services company. Senior executives have said that they eventually will spin off the plane making component of the business to some other company. They expect to be out of the business by 2050.

Boeing's decline can be traced directly to its merger with McDonnell Douglas... a company that had grown fat on Pentagon contracts....engineering prowess meant less than stock maximisation for execs

The Tempelhof Airfield depicted at 1:08 doesn't match with the WWII layout. The airfield got it's first runways right after the war in 1946.

Back in 2014 met a woman many times who was in her nineties and I asked so many questions because she worked at the Air Force base in Denver where B-17 pilots trained. She said that many of them were short and cocky. I asked if people spoke differently as seen in movies from the 1930s and 1940s and she that people didn't speak like that and sound the way we do today. That accent was strictly a Hollywood item and the Broadcast accent was created so speakers didn't sound regional.

With the behaviors of GI's in Paris after the departure of the Wehrmacht, she had always said to my family his hate of US troops..

There is only 8 airworthy B17s rn and only few of them are in the states. It’s impossible to make a ww2 movie or series, based on air fights and not use CGI

Especially when compared to its predecessor’s the gulf in quality is massive for me. It’s like they went full Hollywood on it almost like an avengers movie or something.
