Your storytelling and animation made me feel sympathy for the 6 Hawk pilots. Very balanced. When F-16s appeared, I actually felt a tinge of fear, like the Terminator had shown up.

The American is the one who showed mercy and was deployed to protect the peace And really the narrative of the story read like the Americans were villains because these brave men went against odds, to what, bomb a town and disrupt the peace because their country needs to make further incursions? Again, what about that is heroic?

I love the WWII episodes, but to see more modern jets in your videos is a real treat. I guess it's nice that there aren't a ton of modern air, tank, or naval battles to make videos on, but I'd be open to just seeing ones you made up... maybe an idea for another channel.

J21 Jastreb (Hawk) is grand son of P80/T33 and F84 Thunderjet, roughly speaking of course, it was a single seated version of G2 Galeb (Sea gull) trainer, by the time it was introduced in service it was practically already obsolete, no RWR, no flares, radar and so on but still really nice aircraft that is pleasure to fly as they pilots say, just obsolete for war even in 90's except when there are no air defences or 4th generation fighters lurking them...but I love to see them at airshows, that is for what they are (were) for.

no ones air force is happy if you ditch their planes without trying to defend yourself. also based on previous events the pilots had every reason to expect the US fighters to leave them alone. by the time they realized that wasnt going to happen, it was far too late
@LAndrewsChannel32 минут бұрын
@@ripvanwinkle2002 Half true on the first statement. I don't think the air force expected to defend themselves, especially not against F-16s, as their planes don't appear to be carrying any air-air weapons (not sure if during the incident that was the case, but seeing as they didn't try to fire back at the attackers, seems very likely). I think it is more likely they had their base relatively close (~250 km) so they were trying to get back to it so ground-air could cover them or, if they were going to get shut down before that, get as close to friendly territory as possible to decrease the chances of being captured.
