I can see how it took you over 3 days to make this review, because you covered pretty much every possible configuration among Classics, Masterverse and Origins for the accessories that come with this figure. I have to say that this is my favorite He-Man variant from the Masterverse line, and being released under New Eternia, it just continues to be the best subline where every figure has just been great! I just got my two extra Vykron figures from the Summer Sale and found out a cool feature on the backpack. The wings detach from the backpack! You’re meant to detach the wings on the backpack when attaching it to the tank version.

Since there’s so many collectors that love trashing masterverse and always comparing it to classics I’m going to do just that, except in this case the classics version is a total piece of garbage compared to this version. This masterverse vykron is fun, it can stand, the updated versions look like something that should have been all along. That tank head in classics was so ridiculous. The boba fett rip off was plain dumb. And the barbarian was dull. This masterverse version is absolutely perfect. Great and thorough review. Thanks for taking the time.

Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! I personally think this Masterverse Vykron came out awesome! It's a really fun figure to mess around with. The class is cool because of the big window box, and of course, it was the first time a Vykron figure was made a reality in toy form going back to the original concept toy design. Classics also is about that Nastalgia going back to the original figures we had as kids or just ones that were never created before but have the Classic asthetics going back to the Vintage figures..I'm not sure how the Classics Vykron holds up as mine is in card still. But I have seen other reviews, of course, of his setup. It's an interesting figure, I guess. But the Masterverse one is fun to set up! I wish he had come in a bubble style package for the mint on card collectors and had another pair of shin guards for the space man set up..but you can always use the Barbarian ones or get another pair on ebay and paint them white. I think the Eagle head is really cool. I like better than the Classics Tank one, which a lot of people seem to prefer in the comments comments. You can probably mix parts around, too, between the Masterverse and Classics with some modifications or a little work from what I can see. I'm happy to hear that you really like the design over the Classics. I like them both! But the Masterverse one is where it's at because of cost and easy parts swapping design!👍

@@Themanchlid I plan on using revelations faker for tank armor so he looks battle damaged and revelation grayskull for space armor to give him a 200X Zodak feel. Got them both for $11 bucks on clearance. Much cheaper than buying 3 Vykrons.

I’m going to buy a couple extra Revelations HE-MAN figures and use them to display the two different costumes. They’re relatively cheap now. I just gotta see if I can get extra shin guards without buying another VYKRON figure.

I have Vykron with his barbarian look and then use the Revelations He-man with the spaceman armor and the Masterverse King Grayskull with the tank armor. That way I can pose all 3 together without buying 3 Vykrons and have look like 3 different people.

Space man seems to fit towards the Zodak figure and Eagle tank towards man at arms or maybe he can hang with Stratos or ram man as back up on the battle field with the correct armor

Yeah, I agree! Thae armor design is probably inspired by those figures a bit. The guns on the helmet also look like the setup on the attack track! The Eagle helmet reminds me of a combination of the ground Ripper and Talon Fighter. Over I think it's a cool and unique design! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👍

I got mine yesterday morning. I just ordered a 2nd. I'm working on a video but first I'm finishing up my custom white body for the space armor. There is so much to cover with this figure so I don't know how to organize my video. There's the regular review but I also have a ton of custom crap to go over. The wings on the jetpack are removable & I thought they could fit in the slots on the back of the green eagle head. But they don't fit. I thought that was kinda odd since the eagle armor head has two vertical slots on the back. Not that there is any reason to stick them there, I just assumed.

Congrats on getting your two figures yesterday! Yes, there is a lot to go over in reviewing this figure. It took me a couple of days and filming cuts to put it all up. The jet pack does fit well on mine green armor. I showed it in the review. But it is a little loose. There are so many custom ideas to go over in a review. To me, Vykron is just…okay. Even if I were collecting this line and trying to be a completist, I could very easily do without him. I like the idea behind him being a 3 figures in one type thing. “Barbarian” and “Space Ace” look good…the “Eagle Tank” helmet just looks pretty goofy and clumsy, in my opinion. Also, as others have complained about with both this and Dark-Lyn…the packaging is terrible. Especially when you consider these are exclusives, they’re not very collector-friendly. But then again, that’s also very likely why they are still on sale and in seemingly limitless stock. Anyway, great review, glad you like him. Vykron is definitely not a figure for everyone.

I also heard a couple of complaints about the Eagle Talk helmet.. for some reason, I don't mind it. But I also like the Vintage inspired or Classics Tank helmet. Look as well! I think that's what most people would have preferred. This Masterverse line and figure design is hit or miss. Sometimes Mattel really hits it out of the park with the Newer Core character concepts in the Masterverse. But other times they really change up things and it's very risky. The box art is really cool. But I don't like the shoe box design either for these exclusives!

And the sculpt on this is way better than any of the other MasterVerse heman and you get way more accessories ! But u can’t fix stupid and unfortunately we got way too many stupid motu fans.

Thanks for taking the time to check out the review out. I also think the figure is really great with the design and overlook. The accessories are also very unique. To answer your question! I think it didn't sell out for two reasons. First, it comes in a windowless box. Many mint on card collectors are really against this. I take all my Masterverse out of the box and review. So it doesn't bother me. But all my classics are mint in card and have that big window. That's what most of us want to see on our shelves with the figure. It's not a shoe box with print. The second complaint I heard was the Eagle helmet instead of the Tank Helmet, like the original concept photo and Classics Vykron Figure had. This is the feedback I got in the comments from people who watched the review and picked one up or not and shared their complaints. @Knightofcamlot I also agree with what you're saying about getting to touch and mess around with the figures. I was always a big MOC collector and never took a lot of stuff out. Just had it on shelves and looked at it. But as I started to mess around and be part of a creative content community or KZbin Toy and hobby channel that reviews certain figures like the Masterverse or Motu Origins. I have to take everything out and basically play with it for filming, setups, and the quick custom ideas I try and show. So yeah, I, too, can appreciate that toy in hand more now than just looking at it in a package like all my classics, which also has its own magic like that. I'm glad you enjoyed the reviews and time I put into them. I try not to make the video too long. But I don't rush either, and also try to get to the point with everything 👍

I would say it might be tight to work because of the helmet space or being limited. Man at arms has a large Hemet. The New 2.0 Man at arms that comes the head with no Hemet would probably work better. I think you can use this on a combination of heads. Some will tighter, and others lose. I don't personally know because my classics Vykron Figure and accessories are sealed in card like showed in the review. But from what I know. The Classics Tank head uses the ball peg without the head. So I would say yes. It could probably work on the Masterverse neck with a little force as most Classics heads do, but they are a little tighter.

The tank head was interesting in the Classics line. I guess they were going for something to represent some of the Vintage MOTU vehicles. The guns look like a design from the Attack Track and the eagle head from the Talon Fighter or Ground RIPPER. I think they also wanted to have the armor or mouth open to see the head peaking out instead of a sealed tank helmet. I personally think it's cool! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!

@Themanchlid the tank head was the original concept by Roger Sweet. Classics paid homage to that. Masterverse didn't. For those that missed out on Classics completely this is another big miss by Mattel

@domls1317 Well, yes, that's correct! I showed an image of Roger Sweet concept figures that were the core inspiration for the classics design from, as you mentioned. But those figures were never produced. I was referring to the classics design or figures I showed in the package for comparison. The Masterverse figures or accessories sometimes are hit or miss for many people when compared to the Classics, which is still such a line that unfortunately ended.

I think they are just trying to do something different instead of the same old typical He-man Heads. However, you can always change out the heads with plenty of Masterverse, Classics, and Origins He-man heads on that body with the setups. Most things will work with a little custom work.
