Exactly the same story, except my father died two months later. We watched this together while while he was still in the ECU in Pittsburgh. The Masters was "our thing". My Father was a life long golf fan(and instilled the love of of the game in me), the two golfers that stayed in his heart to the day he died (2/10/20) are Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods💖 I was fortunate enough to buy my father a Master's Hat as a birthday gift years ago... I've only seen him cry 4 times in my life...first was when his Mother (my Grandmother ) passed away, second when Jack won his sixth Green Jacket, third when Tiger won in '97 & fourth when Tiger won again in '19... We we're close and this is the first golf footage I've been able to watch since he passed and I felt he was there watching every moment with me! I was actually at this Masters. In February (of 2019) I got a birthday card in the mail from my dad and the card had a picture of the 12th hole at Augusta on it. I thought that was odd, but then I opened the card and it said “Congrats! You’re going to the Masters!” needless to say I was shocked. My brother had passed away only a few months earlier, so getting to do this with my dad was very special. It was an unbelievable experience. I might have sprinkled some of my brother Max’s ashes around the course (Amen Corner and behind 18). I remember talking to my dad about it and saying “Everything changed at Amen Corner. Do you think Maxer had anything to do with that?” He simply said “Absolutely.” Augusta is the most beautiful place on the planet. I wish the Masters experience on everyone.

2:40:14 - The reason why Jack Nicklaus won so much was that he made the most pars when they were needed. The putt on hole 9 is, in my opinion, one of Tiger's greatest shots. He could have easily screwed this up and walked away with a bogey, even double bogey. He'd enter the back 9 with confidence shaken. But he made par. Sign of a champion. This putt ensured his confidence - he could do it. We'll remember the tee shot on 12, 16, and the putt on 18. But this putt on 9 was absolutely terrific. I've watched 80% of every PGA tour event since about 97. This final round in my opinion is the best. First time I've ever had a tear in my eye. And it was all because of Charlie. I lost it when he hugged tiger because I have a little boy. I vaguely remember the 86 Masters. Which I guess you could say these were the two best. Which includes every major every PGA tour event

Hi everyone. I am a wife, Tiger 🐯 fan, golf fan, golfer, mom and wife of a golfer. And I do get it 🙂🙂. Watched golf ⛳ videos when He's playing many many times. They never get old, never boring and always exciting. Happy golfing everyone!

I have a little boy. He was 6 at the time. After tiger won, and he grabbed charlie, it was the first time I've cried watching any sports event! By far biggest event in sports history

I woke up early that day, my pops got me into golf. Told him that "this was Tigers day I got a feeling dad!!" My dad has talked about this guy since I was a baby on and on and I'm so grateful to had watched this moment as it happened. Was like the old times as a kid watching golf all weekend not understanding jack and even watching my dad play Tiger Woods PGA Tour on PlayStation. We were on the phone that last putt, put me right back into those memories. A beautiful memory I will cherish forever!

It's great that all the guys on tour love when Tiger plays as much as we do. We're so lucky to have been around to see the greatest golfer ever. The guy was born with a club in his hands. 2022 St.Andrews.. Go Tiger!!

This was what made me get back into golf. I was lost for words watching this live and I don't know if I could sit for over 5 and a half hours to watch something else, let alone something i have already witnessed. Greatest comeback in golf history

amazing enough for me to re-watch him winning and leave another comment. I love sports and music and just human skill in general...to be able to overcome and achieve amazing things. The embrace with his family and all of the people supporting him is just unreal. Brings tears to my eyes for this man!

2:40:17 literally the greatest putt ever struck in the history of golf. Tiger doesn't win without this. UTTERLY sublime distance control. As much as I dislike Nick Faldo, at least he immediately realized what a stroke that was.

This is/was the opinion I've held since that day. Everyone freaks about #16 but this putt is hands down the most goosebump enducing "Essence of Tiger" stroke I've ever witnessed and absolutely essential to his epic win. Glad I'm not alone in that thought, sir!

I love tiger woods. I remember watching this in disbelief and complete respect, part of me always knew he wasn’t done, but the logical side of me said there was no way. I’m glad that side was wrong. THE GOAT

A fantastic spectacle and a huge thank you for making this available on KZbin. An unforgettable watch for any golfing fan.
