That first example of the silences even had me leaning in paying more attention. Awesome tips Brenden!!! Love that how simple this outline and explanation is to follow and applying them for more effective presentations and intention with them. Definitely going to try using analogies in future presentations. Yes! Posture is hard!!! It makes a difference not only in presentations but just how you present yourself to others.

Public speaking is THE skill that I want to master above all else and I feel like those five tips will surely help me get there. Mastering silences is something that I would have never thought was necessary and yet, the positive impact it has on a presentation is undeniable. Always a pleasure to watch his videos!

Really appreciate the tips about posture, definitely something I struggle with in presentations, especially playing with my hair!! Also as someone who knows you personally, I can attest to how much your tips have helped me become a better and more confident speaker over the years :)

I met this powerhouse of knowledge who calls himself Brenden in Los Angeles last week. Such a genuine and uberly genius guy. This video helped me alot. I spoke at an event in Mississuaga and used quite a few of his techniques. Its just amazing how he makes things so simple and easy. Highly recommend him to people who are ready to learn about social media as well as public speaking

Holy, every single tips he's being saying is basically what I've been doing for the longest time. Surprisingly, it actually improved both the listeners' attention and focus towards me. Not only, but listen to how he even speaks to us: he knows how to apply his teaching effectively. I'm going bet this: this guy knows what public speaking is all about!

We used to have classes at JMSB together and I was always very impressed with his presentations and the amount of skills and ease he has when it comes to public speaking. These tips are so simple, but mastering them brings you a long way! I personally get really nervous when doing presentations and being aware of these essentials has helped me improve a lot. I even recorded myself on tape to evaluate myself and see where I need to improve! Thanks for all your tips Brenden!

Great tips! I agree completely. I have to really work on mastering my silences but I agree how all of these tips will take you above average when public speaking. Master eye contact.. that one is my favorite. I think mastering eye contact makes your speech that much better.

The thing I appreciate the most about this channel is the fact that Brenden doesn't give out bullshit tips. His content is excellent in the way it's presented and delivered to his audience, but the most impressive fact is that he is as excellent at keeping up with conversations.

This is so simple, yet amazing. I struggle with public speaking due to anxiety. Making eye contact and breathing properly are my biggest issues as a result. I’m going to try the suggestions given.

Very good points about eye contact. I think mastering it really makes each member of your audience feel like you're addressing them personally, and having a speaker look at me directly every so often made me way more engaged during their presentation. Good tips for all speaking, really!

Wow great video and very helpful! You touched on a lot of key points I've noticed in presentations whether it was me presenting or me watching a presentation. “Ums and ahs” specifically is something I‘ve noticed I do and is very common in student presentations. Great video and great tips! Keep it up.
