Film him!! Weed is not the best tool. It’s a psychotic/hallucinogenic. It causes depression in the long run. If you have anxiety it will make it worse. It helps some, but for others it can make some permanently mentally unstable. That’s is also the reason why it’s being so regulated. Talking from experience and being a psychology student.
@true45855 жыл бұрын
Film him!! I understand you. Infact like you from time to time I smoke as well and it has helped me (dive deep within my head), but when my depression and anxiety got really bad and almost borderline, I went into psychosis and just the PARANOIA. That is the true reason why I am trying to put this disclaimer out there. In this day and age everyone is trying to smoke weed and you got these young kids and impressionable people watching and reading these comments and I don’t want them absorbing this information incorrectly and using it irresponsibly. After that psychotic break, weed is something I’m quite defensive about.

If you have perfect peace with god internally (god being the universe, balance and perfect harmony of the world) then, nothing external can change your state of being, as you are in perfect peace. Therefore we should not feel emotions, just peace. All emotions are a sign of weakness because you haven't found god yet and you are living in this false reality instead of the reality in which you are one with everything (everything being god).

@@Lene1973a Why not? If someone you love dies, would you rather choose to feel good instead? Or would you choose to grieve? Besides, by being attached to a mortal human you chose the consequencss. @@sunflower88639 I broke free of the religion that was shaming my sexuality, I moved away from my controling home environment. I also learned to take Tim away from my phone and people and just be with myself and my thoughts, even if they're negative thaughts, I took time to think about why I jump to think a certain why in a certain senario, and I used that method with many senarios and if I couldn't I did research and read about it or listened to another video on the topic on the way to school/work. I partly agree with you but don't agree with the point that there's nothing causing you bad emotions.. actually there are things that cause you naturally to be sad, angry or disappointed but the trick is not to stay in that circle and try to shift your thoughts and think positively so you can get out of that negative circle.. I can't believe i searched this up 6 years ago. And now I'm in a different mindset. My mind shifted so hard. What i learned is that everyday you have to condition your mind to be positive and level headed. At first it wasn't easy but i made it happen. Also what i eat matters too. Eating fruits and protein foods matter. What also helped me out alot is water. Water is the source. Water changed my brain for good. I drink it everyday after i wake up. Exercise 1 hour a day is key too. Also your social circle matters. My brain started slowly kicking the bad out and not needing them. It something isn't bringing value to your life. You should leave it. If you read everything good luck in life. Wish you the best.

Hmm I always understood that you don't have to make negative thoughts positive per se, you just have to not believe (care about) the negative thoughts. The problem lays with the fact that when we believe those negative thoughts they create an emotion. If you have a thought but don't believe it (or don't care about it), it won't create a negative emotion.

I'm very empathic and also used to suffer from crippling social anxiety... I didn't have anyone at the time to tell me how to handle it, so I used techniques I learned from watching a video years ago about "immersion therapy"... Basically if something bothers you, if you're scared of something... step by step, and it may take time, but you push yourself towards it. Mine was signing up for a class, but I had to do it myself. HOW do I do that when I'm terrified of talking to people? I thought about it.. one day I meant to go do it. I talked myself into it, psyched myself into it... and failed. I threw up and stayed home instead. Second time, maybe a week layer... again, psyched myself into going and doing it. I actually left the house... but I ended up walking around a park near the area, trying to calm my nerves, having a panic attack. Third time... showed up there.. walked around the block panicking... then something amazing happened. It wasn't very busy, but low and out of no where, from across the way I saw someone else open the door and go in. I followed. I have NEVER looked back. It's been a slow road, but that first step felt incredible.

It's been a year, but I think it's reasonable to assume you're still dealing with this, since it's usually a lifetime battle. Find things to do with people. Like some kind of hobby, not just random gossip (which can especially turn toxic when anxieties get in the mix), more like something with a clear goal. You'll have more ease talking about things outside of your real experience, and will later move towards more personal thoughts if you make friends with those people. After a while, you'll learn to generally "be yourself" without the cover of talking mostly about one hobby or interest. Doesn't mean all conversations will improve, but you'll start having a lot of better ones, and better gauge how a conversation is going and be more in control of your situation. And the biggest tip of all: listen more than you talk (whenever possible). There's countless reasons for this. For being too empathetic, think more about what you CAN do and not what you SHOULD do when you want to help people. It lifts a burden and will let you help more than you could have before, or at least not be so stressed out. None of it is easy, but a little effort here and there and you'll notice a few years later that you've improved a whole lot.

Leo - sometimes the emotion happens very quickly and takes over us completely. When we're "inside" the emotion it can be difficult to see we're creating it because it takes on an almost concrete reality and we feel justified in our emotion. In my experience, accepting an emotion without trying to change it can make it pass quicker. If we try to reframe it, we can sometimes feel like we're fooling ourselves and that can make us feel worse. Maybe sometimes it's best just to sit with an emotion until it passes. Also, an emotion can sometimes carry useful information to us (e.g. loneliness might indicate I need to go out more, anxiety might indicate I need to exercise more etc).
@ActualizedOrg10 жыл бұрын
That is why it's necessary to develop consciousness. So that you can not get caught up in emotions when you don't want to. Emotions aren't the enemy. The problem exits only when your emotions got you by the balls. Yes, emotions can be signals, but most people get so caught up they miss the signal entirely.

***** First it is the thoughts about a particular circumstance or stimuli that causes us to feel emotions, then our thoughts about the emotions themselves can amplify the emotions or create a perpetual cycle unless we choose to break it. The cycle can be good or bad, but it's important to filter the stimuli to put yourself on an upward trajectory as opposed to random fluctuations that get you nowhere!
