I just found you not long ago. Had to sub. Great stuff that reminds me of my youth playing guitar in the 70s and 80s. Thanks for this. 👍

@@mastertheguitar You are very welcome. I just scored on a Japanese Ibanez. Great guitars from Japan.

I've got a white San Dimas just like yours. Put a black trem arm on it. It'll really change the aesthetics in a good way. Balances out the chrome/black ratio. Thanks for the Meltdown lesson......cheers!

Yeah man! All black h/w would be my preferred setup. When I was looking to get a Charvel I nearly went for an older model which had black h/w but only a three way switch and volume decided to get the newer pro mod as it was then. Maybe one day I’ll swap out the chrome :)

@@mastertheguitar Yep, I would've preferred all black h/w also and had the same experience as you when looking for mine. What sold me was the no-load tone pot and the coil splitting. Also the direct mounting of the pu's to the body is a plus. Anyway, I'm very happy with it.

Will you refret that one with jescar stainless jumbos? Is this worth it for a « cheap » guitar? (I hesitate to buy one and directly upgrade it with ss refret...) Thanks :)

Funnily enough I have considered it! It's something I may well end up doing in the future. As you say a SS refret is not far off half the value of the guitar BUT it is an awesome upgrade to do.
