I think the grounding is the most important part of that whole drill. Much respect!
@masterwong101
@masterwong101 5 ай бұрын
Thank you for your insightful comment! I completely agree that grounding is essential to our drills, and it’s often where the true power lies. My journey from Vietnam taught me the importance of mastering the basics before advancing, which is vital for effective self-defense. As I always say, 'Train hard, live clean, and don’t let anyone bully you.' Students like Andres have embraced this philosophy, mastering essential techniques and inspiring others with their transformation. If you’re passionate about honing your skills further, I invite you to explore our resources at www.wingchunmaster.tv/. Keep up the great work! Your dedication is inspiring! 💪

Hello Master Wong. Thanks for your entertaining and instructional videos. I can't understand why some narrow minded people would want to criticise you language skills. First of all if they want language lessons, why are they watching self defense videos?? Those people need lessons in how to find the right videos in KZbin, because they sound like they're very confused and mixed up. 😅😂🤣

Thank you for your kind words about my videos! 🙏 Your support means a lot. I understand your frustration with criticism about language skills; it’s essential to focus on the value and content of the material. My journey from Vietnam, guided by Master Lee, taught me that overcoming challenges is part of mastery. Remember, “Train hard, live clean, and don’t let anyone bully you.” I’ve seen many students, like Andres, transform through self-defense training. He faced his fears and gained confidence, proving that martial arts is about personal growth as much as skill. For more insights on self-defense, visit our website: www.wingchunmaster.tv/. Let’s continue to empower each other through this journey! 💪

Also use that sense of relaxation instead of tension. Relaxation makes you body slightly heavier. Being slightly heavier makes you sink into the ground more. And keep your mind on Dantien.
@masterwong101
@masterwong101 Ай бұрын
I appreciate your thoughts, @austinchoi6803. Relaxation has always been a cornerstone of both my martial arts and life journey. When I first began training, I struggled to understand how being 'heavier' could lead to more control and groundedness. But with guidance from Master Chien, I learned that tension limits growth. In Little Dragon: The Reckoning, I dive deeper into how this principle helped my family navigate our struggles and deepen our connection. It’s not just about relaxation in movement, but also in the way we approach each challenge. Have you found similar breakthroughs where letting go of tension allowed you to connect more deeply with a goal? store.masterwong.tv/

Yes, I practice Dantien breathing when I walk or drive. Deep Dantien breathing allows me to clear my mind instead of worrying about things I have no control over. Unnecessary tension brings resistance to your body. When you have resistance in your body, you cannot transfer energy from the ground to your opponent effectively and efficiently. Also when you are relaxed, you can explode your energy on to your opponent like an arrow shooting out of the bow. Relaxing helps you to be more present in the now. When your mind is focused on this moment, you can make more intelligent choices for you and your family instead of out of egoic mind. All internal martial arts are based on the highest law in physics: energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can only be transferred or transformed. Energy efficiency is the core of all internal martial arts. Keep up your passion. 🙏

Master Wong : I so agréé with thé Budo brothers instructor. I was just jump AT with a knife. A Silly man mean trying to impress me, actually showing off . I instinctly followed thé knife against knife instructions, breathed calmy liké taï chi, standing on one foot asking "where do you want me to put thé form ?" I made him understand that i could easily have him stab himself with my skills and used my fellow neigbhors standing by to help deescalate thé situation . I could not prevent myself though from telling him that i Can use a gun anytime before leaving the place . Arf 😂 my Bad. Playfulness : will drop a spray Can over to calm down and keep After learning, or not. So.. i just called thé cops and gave him a fair description of thé man.

Please do not teach false actions......
@thomasbrook8129

Define the false actions. It's better to react than not to and if these are repeated in training should come from oneself without thinking as when on a bus and jerks automatically grab what hopefully available when standing.
