Self-Defense street fight techniques used to destroy your opponent. Like, Subscribe and share for more badass videos.
Hi,
Master Wong here.
Let me ask you some questions…
Do you want to Self-confidence and are you ready to improve your health and coordination?
Wouldn't it be awesome if you could get rid of fear and learn to defend yourself? What if you could instantly download Wing Chun into your brain? These are questions I used to ask myself as well.
Just imagine if you had that Wing Chun Kung Fu skill, what would you do with it? Would that instantly change your life and health for the better? Unfortunately, Wing Chun Kung Fu isn't as easy as inserting a cord into our brains to download the information like the Matrix. You'll have to find a good Master if you want to learn correctly. Even if you find a Master that could expedite your training, it's going to take years to hone the skills that you envision.
Talk about "Wing Chun Kung Fu overload" . . .

Master Wong, as a wrestler and a bjj practitioner, I have dabbled in boxing and muay tai and I am confident in a very basic level. How would you combat a larger opponent if they took you to the ground? I am not saying anything I have learned is the best. But I would love to see a video of a smaller person combating a larger person on the ground. Thank you for all your knowledge much respect.

I'm a police officer and the techniques we use for self-defence are very similar to this. - Not clenching fists, but keeping your hands above your waist, or in front of you, palms facing out as in saying "please calm down, sir". This serves two purposes: Being ready for an attack, and not looking like a thug threatening a citizen. - The shoulder grab (Not actually the shoulder, but closer to the triceps): It's a common way to manipulate people, especially dangerous people, when they're handcuffed. Also used to push suspects to the ground, and then transitioning to "the mount", where you kneel on his back while you keep his arm between your legs and handcuff the suspect. - Using kicks to gain distance (mostly front kicks) and then using your baton or gun. - Going close range while covering your head with your elbows: Used in combination with the shoulder grab, as shown in the video, or if you're backed up against a wall and need to get out of there.

It's easy to demonstrate applications with your training buddy because you both know each other's attacking & defending habits but real life, years of practising one style will pay because you'll become fluid like master Wong & you'll stand a better chance to deal with different situations correctly. People doing MMA are terrible street fighters because it takes a lifetime to really become fluid at one style. MMA people claim to know every single style & I'd like to tell them good luck because they're lying to themselves. It takes 15 years to really master Jijutsu, then Tae kweondo, then Muay, then Boxing then you'd still have to go back to kindergarten to learn basic street fight with master Wong. Good luck MMA champions :)

size does matter to an extent. If a 5ft 7 145 Ibs pro boxer was to fight an average joe who is 6ft3 190Ibs, then the boxer would get inside and do damage. However if you have a 5ft 7 145 Ibs pro boxer against a 6 ft 3 190Ibs pro boxer its no match up at all. Size does matter but its also about how well trained you are. But usually the bigger person wins, simple as that.

In my experience, Wing Chun stands out for its practicality in street fights. Its focus on close-range combat and efficient techniques makes it highly effective for self-defense. Remember, "Train hard, live clean, and not let anyone bully you." The way you train reflects how you'll respond in real-world situations. Want to explore more? Um why would a BJJ teacher say that? First BJJ came from Judo, secondly a figure 4 is the same in all martial arts, no style is better than the other. It's the application and the martial artist who is bad. Clearly not 1 of you has learned this yet and this why you are a bullshido expert and not a martial artist.

Master Wong people often come up to you with verbal like they want to fight. I find that infringement of personal space. We're the best place to strike at such close proximity. But wing chun was designed for closeness. And people are unpredictable. Maximum damage for me to run away

the main take-away for the guys question i think is that you just have to create the control as quickly as possible, to defend an unfamiliar attack style

Or when someone will punch you, quickly grab their arm and their fist and pull them towards you and pull yourself towards them at the same time. As you are going towards them, u go behind them, either choke lock them or quickly give them a hard kick to the back of their leg, that way they either call on their knees or all the way down. Or just do both choke lock and kick.
