As always, the different singing styles of Troy and Brent bring so much to their work. I didn’t love this song when I first heard it, but it grows on you - it’s really smooth and soulful.

I love how Mastodon have matured and tightened their songwriting over their 20+ years. This is newer Mastodon and I feel newer Mastodon is more your jam David. A lot of great tracks out there by them.

Finally some more Mastodon. In my books one of the most exciting bands of the 21st century so far. They did a slight style change in 2009 with their 5th album "Crack The Skye" and everything they did afterwards hit's all the right nerves in me. There's that one song called "Jaguar God" from their 2017 album "Emperor Of Sand". In my opinion their best song and I think you also might like it. I'd love to see a reaction from you too that one. Anyway i like your reactions and that you're honest and say when you dont like it and for that reason your opinion matters to me. Stay authentic dude

Mastodon are an acquired taste for sure although I've seen them live twice and they put on a great show And the fact that all the guys sing both lead harmonies and backup only makes the group stronger with more vocal palates to choose from Brann is such an underrated drummer Btw if you want to hear a 100% catchy banger try their song ASLEEP IN THE DEEP The video alone was an award winning effort with a very trippy plot I just Gojira Mastodon and Lorna Shore in Portland Maine about 11 months ago haha and I'm seeing Gojira next month in Massachusetts for the 10th time since 2006 Overall Dave fair score a solid song from their catalogue 😎🤘🧐✌️

Mastodon rules, such a unique band with so much variety in their discography, there is truly nobody else out there who sounds like them, Brann Dailor is also one of the sickest drummers in the business and an awesome lead vocalist too. Always happy to see mastodon get some reaction attention, good stuff brotha
