I have to tell a funny story. My husband was playing a game as a Cupid and enemy God was He Bo. Every single time He Bo would come around the corner God would say "He Bo". I thought it was the dumbest thing for a God to announce his presence every single time he comes to the lane. So I tell my husband as such. He was utterly confused. Come to find out whenever Cupid threw hearts on the ground, he'd say, "Here you go," and I heard it as "He Bo." It didn't help the coincidences of hearts being thrown every time He Bo came around the corner.

If you pay VERY CLOSE attention, the gold, when you die, does show up on your screen just like when you kill an enemy. But it shrinks/fades very fast.

Mast, the reaason you did extra dmg to the Tower was because of Spear, it not only does extra True dmg to minion Camps/ Bosses but also to Structures. Guess Smite community is like the Yugioh one, doesnt read the Items lol
