Thank you for the video! I love stuff like this; handcrafted, high quality, and made without compromise. As a consumer, I've grown to appreciate companies like this, even if they cost more -- when that extra money is going towards quality and craftsmanship (rather than trends and brand names,) it's well worth it to me. It seems a little difficult finding more info about these in the US. I'd love to pick up a pair from this brand.

I love the styling of this frame and out of all the brands that I own, Masunaga is one I had yet to experience. But I also wanted a serious piece of eyewear from Japan as an everyday eyeglass, so I just made the plunge and purchased this frame in the tortoiseshell color. My black LGR Malabo will be my more formal pair, but this frame in the tortoiseshell is much more me. Hinge quality was also a big factor here, so this review had me sold on it quickly. I can’t wait to experience this frame. I’ll likely be getting the sun-clip very soon.

Hi Danial. Fantastic video! I've been looking at the Masunaga 081 in dark navy blue and tortoise. Is that frame basically a smaller version of the 000?

Hello Rich. Thank you sir! The 081 is smaller, but it is also a bit of a different shape with a thinner rim along the lower half of the frame front.
