MAT/RAFT Footing design in SAFE by importing file from STAAD

SAFE is a Product of CSI, It is mainly used for structural analysis of Foundation and slabs. The Super structure and its loads can be imported from ETABS and then the design can be done in this. Also there are many safety checks which can also be performed.

Bro the columns restrains (fixed supports)should have been removed so that the loads can be transfered to the mat foundation then to the soil. Also there was no soil load applied to the mat foundation!

Depends, have to look at the plan, soil test report, borehole locations of soil test , contour drawings and then take a decision
