Matagorda Island and Beach , Texas Gulf Coast

We start out driving over the Intercostal Waterway headed South to the public beach. We pass along the Colorado River on the right side that is lined with vacation rentals . It's also where the Colorado river empties into the Gulf. This is a paradise for avid fishing enthusiasts. Once at the beach it's almost like we have the place to ourselves. Water temp. about 80 plus degrees. Warm ocean breeze off the Gulf of Mexico. What a better way to enjoy some quiet time. Hope you enjoy our trip. Nice! recommend 4 wheel on this beach, very soft sand, very easy to get stuck. One of the most beautiful spots for sure!

I really enjoyed that Glenn, thank you. Sure do miss the beach. Will have to make it to Padre Island while I am in Texas.
