Loved this video, we stayed in Matagorda beginning of September it was absolutely fantastic! We hired a bike for 4 people and decided to travel to watch the planes near the airport, was so good the grandchildren and us adults loved it! Next time i know the way to get to puerto del carmen on a bike lol... love all the information you bring to us thank you both!.. may i be cheeky and ask Ruby how do you get your hair so nice in those plaits? Maybe a quick video to show us! :) xx... Also it made me laugh when you drove into that bush along the way... me and my hubby wanted to know what Matagorda stood for and its 'Big bush' apparently! :)))) xx

We always stay in PDC but go down to the beach, just before the "weird object" everyday, its so much more chilled than the beaches in PDC proper, another great video !

Very nice video and it’s definitely confirmed to us that Lanzarote is more us . Like to stay in a quieter area but walking distance to madness as we say . I do like less crowds but on the other hand sitting at an empty bar would really get me down as I do like a vibrant atmosphere. Ruby sorry to say is lacking in the peddling the bike department and clearly needs to put more effort in 😂 legends the pair of you and this was one of my fave videos you’ve done . We’re looking forward to spend time together soon as a couple in 3 weeks as I work long hours and of course she does aswell so time together is so important. Thanks again superb

Those bikes, think they are called quadricycles seem to be only in some holiday resorts around Europe seen them in Mallorca. They are good fun with groups of people. Don’t think we would see them here in dublin or anywhere in uk. Thinking of lanzarote now as have not been there in 15 yrs!

You should check out the Riu Paraiso hotel, it's amazing. We are going back there for Christmas again . Lovely vlog I stayed in PDC first time then Matagorda. Matagorda is quieter but lovely and relaxing the commercial centre you cycled by has lovely places to eat and nice bars there too. PDC is nice too with the amazing beach and nice bars etc that stay open later. You can check out the old town its cheap in a taxi. The volcano trip is good and the market at Teguise you can book that at Travel on World. I also took the public bus to Arrecife the capital. Thanks for sharing enjoy

When I went there I didn’t know that end of matagorda existed so will be trying that place out when I go as I only ventured out as far as jungla bar

I really like Playa Blanca so interested you said you'd like to visit 😊 it's spread out so choose your location wisely depending on what you want. I hire a villa near the lighthouse which is further out but have a car. You'd be wise to pick somewhere central so near the marina, Playa Dorada beach, Town beach or harbour. Recommend you do visit the whole resort from the Lighthouse one end to the Papagayo beaches the totally other end. But not in one go as you'd be knackered 😂
