Listening to this brought memories flooding back in of 2004 when my son was deployed to Iraq. I would spot stars, planets or comets and tell him where to look in the sky. He would then search the sky and report back if he saw them. It was a way for us to stay connected. He died there that November, so those memories are very precious. Thanks for doing this piece and sharing with us.

Dear Mat and Savanna, I am a physician battling CoVid -19 everyday with my patients on an Indian Reservation in Arizona and there are days when I return after work to home and cry. Just hearing this song was wonderful. I live in the Southwest and have not seen my children or grandchildren for nearly 7 months due to this pandemic. Your song reminds me to be grateful that we all are united under one sky and there is hope for all of us. I had to arrange for an 18 yr old child to call the hospital to arrange a video chat so he could communicate to his hospitalized mother with CoVid, the news that his father died suddenly last night at home from CoVid . This is what is so difficult. I prayer you both never stop signing because if lifts the spirits of all who love you. God continue to bless you both and stay well and safe. ❤This song carried me through a terrible dark time when I was 10, when my parents went through an ugly divorce and I was their weapon of choice. I was put on Prozac (now known to be harmful to children under 18) and hospitalized. Every night, I would stare out the window and sing this song, imagining my best friend and crush singing the duet part with me. We wrote each other and loved to sing together at school, and the harmonies still make my heart soar with comfort and warmth. You two are blessed with wonderful blend and real giftedness. Thank you!

One more thing, to the persons who criticize: "Disney-like" music is a style every bit as valid and complex as any other style of music. In fact, it can be much more difficult to sing a pure, well-modulated single note than it is to sing 15 different notes within the same span of time.

So my wife sent me the Phantom of the Opera cover and said betcha you'll cry. I'm not a huge POTO fan and replied to her after watching that not a tear was shed! I was however extremely impressed at the voice talent and according to the comments the family cats ability to play the piano so well. I followed up with Let it be which was quick to get some moisture flowing in my eye sockets. Further impressed I stumbled on to this little gem that I happened to grow up with... you guys turned the faucets on!!! Needless to say the wife didn't win the battle but she won the war! Oh my oh my oh my, this just hit me hard, I couldn’t wait to click and to watch / listen but what I didn’t expect was to sit here crying all the way through, the pureness of your voices, the harmony, oh gosh, the harmony, was just so moving to listen to, I ended up shutting my eyes and just feeling the emotions that you both brought out in me. Mat and Savanna, I am writing this note from Melbourne Australia whilst we are in lockdown with Covid. You are both like angels with your harmonies and perhaps you will tour in Australia one day we hope. I am also a father of four beautiful children and proud of each and everyone of them. Our youngest sang at school but difficult now with university and work commitments. I know the importance of being grounded in life but would strongly recommend you liaise with a trusted christian contact who could advise you both in a musical direction. Our 2nd daughter who is 23 and works as a nurse in a Covid ward in Melbourne sang on stage with Kelly Clarkson when she was nine which we will never forget. Agree that Kelly is a super woman and so normal. I’m confident you can connect with some of your friends in Oz now as you have a following which is palpable. Lockdown really worked for your family no doubt. Keep safe and thanks for putting yourselves out there especially when we are often suspicious of randoms sending email notes into the abyss. My wife is working tonight in an ICU so important we have these stars in our lives. Trust the election in the US is worked out for the best and we will be keen to know outcome in Oz. Warmest wishes

I remember this song from the 80's! Back then when I was 15 Years old I DID begin to pray for my wife, who I didn't meet until I was 24 years old. We've been happily married now for 25 Years.
