Just want to point out, the ‘axe kick’ Saenchai does isn’t an axe kick. He doesn’t use the heel. He said in one of his US seminars that it’s a face teep and he uses the ball of his feet at a downward angle

@@lionellosanti No, he doesn’t use the heel at all, even in his actual fights. There’s plenty of times he’s used it that have slow-mo replays to prove it. It’s actually pretty neat and the 1st time I’ve ever seen it as I’m also very used to people doing an axe kick.

He's 42 years old so he doesn't fight the best of the best anymore. Also there's a reason he can pick and choose his opponents: He's 5 time Lumpinee champion and probably the most famous fighter in Thailand and he's the main reason people go to see Thai Fight.
