Well done for getting second. It's good to see you concentrating on your fishing more than everyone else's. Was it long hooklength with groundbait feeder? Lovely venue and great to catch a fair few bream. Can I just ask you, what landing net handle do you have as it looks quite light. Thanks for great video

yes had a good day. the hooklength was only about 18 inches. the flow was very slow. The landing net is a 4m sensas pole. I only use 3 thickest sections. The thinest is only good for roach. It was very hot hitting 32 degrees when we finished

Really enjoyed watching . What range of species are present on this stretch? Are you allowed to night fish in France?

the river mayenne has everything from small white fish roach dace etc, to carp tench chub, and very big catfish. there are parts of the river mayenne not to far from the town center where night fishingh is allowed. there is a tow path that runs many miles south to laval, with good access for fishing. In general night fishing is not allowed apart from certain areas on rivers, and some private lakes. thanks for watching sorry for the late reply
