Wrong, you haven't watched enough of MGs. he was just an average player but he came with a lot of humour sense and quick wittedness..

I think of all the episodes Richard helped people win money in - Nipsey and Charles were good but you could never blame anyone for choosing Richard to go do the final match - and he seemed to really care for the people (with his British side) made him a special character on here - he really made the show and it was never the same without him - never

It was never the same again without him???? It was Far Better. Dawson was a complete EGO the last while he was on MG. He wanted his own show and wanting OUT OF HIS CONTRACT. Dawson did not care about ANYONE BUT RD

Not true. She would have to sit where the producers told her to. Brett was soon back in her usual seat, top tier, in the middle.

Richard Dawson never moved. Shatner did quite a few game shows and would appear many more times.

Can anyone say BOWL CUT?!!! OMG people looked AWFUL in the 70s. I know. I was in grade school way back then. Seriously though, great to see the only episode I ever saw with the recently deceased ANNE MEARA. Her and my late mother were the same age and both native New Yorkers. Remember her fondly from ARCHIE BUNKERS PLACE. All my mom's peers are dying off now. Makes me sad. RIP.

Thanks for posting all the old Match Game shows, I practically grew up watching the program. Some suggestions about the audio. I use Adobe Premiere and not Final Cut but a lot of the concepts are similar in the various editing packages. It looks like the video might be a tad over-compressed. If you have the option to make the completed file larger or to use a different CODEC you may want to try that. Maybe try using MP4 instead of FLV for instance. If that doesn't help another possibility is that your two audio channels might be out of phase. One way to fix out-of-phase audio is to take one channel from your playback DVR (either R or L) and feed it into both L & R channels of your computer that you are recording/editing the program with. I bet that one or both of these would improve the audio. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions about audio. Thanks again for all the shows.
