Thank goodness for Betty White! She broke a long string of non-matches today, scoring her 8th head-to-head match, making her second only to Richard in total number of matches. (She is also second in total number of times selected!) But when it comes to accuracy, Betty is on top at 50%! (Orson Bean has been selected so few times, I'm overlooking his perfect score of 3/3 for now.) Richard has had a recent string of non-matches, and now his score has dropped back to the bottom, at 26.98%... (for about a week there, he had been slightly ahead of Brett). Here's the updated accuracy stats on the 7 celebs to have scored 3 or more matches so far: Orson - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Betty - 50% (8 wins in 16 attempts). Charles - 42.9% (6 wins in 14 attempts). Jo Ann - 36.4% (4 out of 11 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Brett - 28.6% (4 wins in 14 attempts). Richard - 27.0% (17 wins in 63 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 179, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.

I was not around in 1952. The late 70s more my era. But I'm enjoying all of these episodes. I watch daily. Today I watched Gene and Helen on he said, she said. I watched Gene on what's my line. I'm watching Gene now. I just thought he was a Sweet man, helen pretty much said the same. I thought Gene was a attractive man. He lived a full life. Sad he was cremated and has no final resting place. I don't think he got the respect he Deserved. He is still loved. And missed. I always love when Betty White is on.👍. Brett, Charles Richard, and Betty and Fanny was some my favorites. I just learned today that Charles' passed a year before Brett. Yes I'm learning more now since I've been watching these episodes. Brett was a very attractive and a Good Actress. I knew more about Charles, Richard, Betty and Fanny. Than I did Gene and Brett.so I'm doing my Research. 👍. Love, Respect And Positivity Always. ✌️🖖🤗💖🙂👋. Vee J.

I'm just curious - does anyone know how much the (D list) celebrities got paid per episode? How much for Gene? I seem to remember that Richard Dawson got into a pissing contest over $ toward the end of his tenure.
@sdlively274 жыл бұрын
Jack Klugman said 1500 for 5 episodes but I am guessing that is for the non regulars, not sure about the regulars. Gene, depending when, 4000(?) an episode I think. Richard didn't get into a contest over money at the end of his tenure with Match Game.. Now sure why you call them D list celebrities. Gene has mentioned that money back then wasn't good as it is now..
