Wouldn't it have been fun once a year to have had a champion face-off week on MG? They could have had the biggest winners come back for a rapid-fire series of games (maybe a bit of a format tweak) to earn money for charities or something and broadcast the shows towards the end of December. It would have been nice to reconnect with some of the prior champions (some were quite memorable!), and Gene could ask them what they did with their winnings, and maybe show clips from their original run. Or they could have had an annual prime-time special (two or three hour-long shows aired on consecutive days or maybe one 90-minute special) if they didn't want to interrupt the flow of the daily show for a week.

Janet Finn - she passed away but was rich from her Match Game 74 winnings, im sure she was able to get those kids braces and a yacht. For the time, her winnings equaled $98,716.32 for today's money (2018). So she banked large. Not retirement money, but enough to get a mercedes, some braces, and a big house with a yacht type money. And to think if not for a couple stupid mistakes, she could have been another 10K richer.....she should have chosen Richard a few more times as well.....she had the data on him....her own fault.

I thought "elephant" right off the bat, because you'd have to be a really good magician to pull one of those out of your shorts, and elephants are associated with circuses. When Janet said it too, I thought she was a sure winner, but then I remembered the video's spoilerific title... Why Joyce and Richard said "carrot" is beyond me: you don't have to be a magician at all to pull a carrot out of your shorts! Anyone could hide a carrot there! (Well, I guess I can understand Joyce, she's in the designated silly/dumb seat, but Richard, come on, he's a better player than that!)

I dont think you have to worry about that. The A-B Questions are always up to the challenger to pick, and the questions that Janet got, she just didnt do well on. In some of her previous episodes she did poorly as well and just by dumb-luck the challenger did bad too so she won just by chance. This time it didnt pan out. That kind of conspiracy-theory corruption tho, Richard for sure would object and just outright wouldnt do it. You see him many many times question for fairness on the show, so there's some credibility there. For the finals... Elephant out of the pants just wasnt a good answer because it only tied in with the "circus" theme, and by that token, any large animal couldve went into the answer, like say Giraffe. The answers from the stars, were Birds/Doves, which is an animal Magicians were known to "make appear", specifically doves. On the other side, if pulling from your pants is the opposite of pulling from your hat, then another opposite would be pulling a carrot(also there's the wiener innuendo) instead of a rabbit. So there was some logical thought there... she just missed it, it happens sometimes, no foul
