I wonder if her husband minded her flirtatiousness. Was he the same way on his show.
@jools01 Жыл бұрын
@@pencils812 in betty’s biography she told a story about when they were newly married and they had a house party. One of the guests was flirting with allen and betty got jealous, when betty told allen why she was annoyed he told her about how flirtatious she could be without intending to be. Betty said at first he was jealous/annoyed but once allen realised it wasn’t intentional and didn’t mean anything he didn’t mind as much.

Rough week for contestants in the H/H match this week. Richard tried 3 times and Brett twice, but no one matched all week. Brett's misses caused her accuracy score to slip back below Richard's... ...and Betty White gets ignored for her third full week in a row... Here's the updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 80% (4 wins in 5 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Betty - 50% (15 wins in 30 attempts). Fannie - 46.7% (7 wins in 15 attempts). Charles - 45.7% (16 wins in 35 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 36.2% (85 wins in 235 attempts). Brett - 35.3% (12 wins in 34 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 455, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")

There have been many celebs who matched once or even zero times during their entire week. It's happened from time to time with male celebs in the #1 chair. I'd have to go back and rewatch, but I think Anson Williams and Jim Backus fall into this category, or close, and I'm sure there are others too that I don't recall right now. That said, it doesn't mean they weren't good panelists if they bring some humor and entertainment to the game. (Personally, I enjoyed Anson and Jim and if they reappear in a future week, I'd be happy.) I've read comments that criticize celebs who never match because "they cost players money" which is a ridiculous argument --- if a celeb is really bad at the game and *never* matches, then it's a draw for both contestants. I mean, they don't win money based on the number of matches they score, they just need to score the most. In other words, if a contestant wins 1 to 0, they earn the same amount as if they scored 6 - 5. (And obviously the contestant isn't obliged to choose them for the head-to-head match where a bad player conceivably could cost a contestant some money.) PS: Arlene brought a lot of class and gravitas to the show and helped balance out the week's cast of celebrities. I don't think she'd be good as a permanent panelist (I think the show needs at least a couple loud, wacky panelists each week, and I miss Kaye!), but as an occasional fill-in, I think she's wonderful!

Not to begrudge the vulture it's day; there is a celebration in early March each year in the Township of Hinckley Ohio noting "Buzzard Day". You can check the township's web page - it's on it.

So this is the first '75 episode Buzzr aired with mid-episode fee plugs. It won't be long before CNR's return and the first appearance of the vane numbers display where Gene enters. There is a pre-emption somewhere between this week of episodes and the next week of episodes. I believe this episode aired on May 6, 1975 but check on the episode guide though to see if I'm right.
