The song that became Bob Hope's signature number is called "Thanks for the Memory," not "Memories," although "memories" makes more sense as who has just one from an experience worth singing about?

H/H match update: ... Our champion had just won her second game yesterday as time expired, so we start out with her repeat trip to the Super Match round today. (Well, after the obligatory chit-chat and the Jody Donovan fashion show, of course.) She calls on the same celebs in the same order as yesterday: Charles, Brett, and Richard. Frankly, I don't like any of their suggestions for "_______ Memory", but I can't come up with anything better. Good thing I'm not playing today! When Gene asks if she had something better in mind, she said "I wish I did." Yup, the suggestions really didn't sound all that great today, but she takes Richard's answer. The audience booed. Even Richard said he would've taken Charles's answer. Let's see: no one came up with the $100 answer. No one came up with $250 answer. (Are you seeing a pattern here?) But wait, Charles's answer --- "Thanks for the" (despite the song being "Memories" and the question being "Memory") --- was the $500 response! Sadly, no head-to-head match today. (Looking back at recent H/H match history, Richard has played the last 14 consecutive H/H matches, and 41 of the last 46. Of those 41, he matched 20 of them, which is actually quite good, and this "hot" stretch brought his overall accuracy score up above Brett's.) Kind of a down note to close out Match Game '75. But then to top if off we go two full rounds without a single match! Wow! (Gene says it was the first time that's ever happened. I seem to recall an earlier game that ended in a zero-zero tie, but I didn't make a note of it, so I'm not positive.) -----Cut to the balloon popping, general revelry, singing, and the introduction of the Match Game '76 stage logo! Can't wait to see what next year brings to our Match Game family! Meanwhile, here's the standing leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (4 wins in 4 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Fannie - 52.6% (10 wins in 19 attempts). Betty - 46.9% (15 wins in 32 attempts). Charles - 45.2% (19 wins in 42 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 40.3% (142 wins in 352 attempts). Brett - 38.0% (19 wins in 50 attempts). Bert Convy - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 618, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")

@tomitstube a gun or rifle wouldn't be out of the ordinary. Normally you'd carry both on you unless you were on a transport. The idea would be to think of things that wouldn't normally be in the duffel bag like all the goof ball answers the celebs came up with.
