H/H match update for episode 1429: ... ~~~Today's action: It's close, but our champ is defeated 4-3. She won only one game and $100 in prize money. I always feel bad when champions are defeated with small winnings, but then again, I bet it was a great experience and they were really lucky just to get a chance to play Match Game! Memories worth far more (and lasting far longer) than 5 or even $10,000. *Today's (first) audience match question: "Slim________"* My thoughts: (Pickens, Chance, & Trim) The celebs: Nipsey (Jim), Charles (Pickens), Loni (Chance) The choice: Jim (The audience likes it.) The answers: And Trim, Pickins, Jim Not bad. I would've gone for "Pickins," but our champ is more savvy! It's wheel time. (Just a reminder, there are likely only 2 H/H questions left - counting this one - in this final week for Joyce, Nipsey, Loni, and Jack!) The wheel stops on Nipsey, and a double! Stats: Nipsey last played (and matched) in 1336 and 1310. And this is probably the question that will decide if Nipsey makes it to the big leader board or not (it's likely his final H/H). Folks, I spent my entire afternoon today in trying to remaster an episode in my collection of Match Game that was as having a very bad audio problem. On my recording of Match Game 79 Episode 1429 from 2015, there was no audio. I had to reconvert my old 2001 copy and old 2005 copy to make magic happen with discs being unable to read! Well, I was able to complete this project for you all to enjoy! Our uploading will resume now for you to enjoy! I hope you all understand how much time and effort it takes to make this project happen! Appreciate it folks! MGP
