It's rare that a cultural reference from 1979 is someone who is still active and involved and frequently mentioned in the media today: Dolly Parton has certainly enjoyed a long, productive, career and has done so many great things over the years, and she continually gives back to the community in so many ways.

Just out of curiosity, I've searched for autographed Match Game cards on ebay a few times over the past year or so, and I have never found any of them listed. I have no desire to buy one (well, I guess I probably would buy if the price was like $5 or $10). But I'm curious to know how much one would sell for.

We do know that a contestant from MG77 showed her autographed blue card to Richard Dawson in 1994, when that same woman was a contestant on Family Feud (on the first episode of Richard Dawson's brief second run as Family Feud host). So we know that at least one contestant kept at least one card for 17 years.

Here are the results from this week: Bill Daily gave away the most money at a total of $5,100. Charles gave away $4,000, Lee gave away $2,000, and Brett gave away $250. Charles matched the most with a total of 17 matches, Don matched 12 times, Brett and Bill matched 11 times, Lee matched 9 times, and Patti matched 7 times.

I mean, it would have probably wrecked the show entirely but after so many years and Brett STILL hasn't learned that what she is doing is called UPSTAGING other actors on the panel. They should never have kept her on so long. Poor Charles.

Oh for freaking sake lighten up you snowflake. Seriously Brett and Charles were BEST friends they LOVED each other it was NEVER mean or hurtful. Watch Brett's Q&A she did for the Match Game DVD they NEVER fought. Brett NEVER upstaged ANYONE she was only having FUN. I'm so sick of seeing your nasty comments and always talking shit about Brett. You are a nasty troll. Not poor Charles at ALL it's poor YOU for not understanding their friendship. They kept Brett on because she was and is LOVED, they kept Brett on because she brought the much needed LAUGHTER and they kept Brett on because she MADE the show and it wouldn't HAVE lasted this long without her.
